Still waiting on Mike Rogers explanation on why GLB feels this is essential code in the game that brings the user base a tremendous value.

The mods, admins, and testers should just stop posting. Well maybe not mods, they should just not argue.

Nothing like arguing with your paying customers.

I dont care if your on the payroll or not your still a representative.

I agree. Although the overall reason the Throw Away as it is now is because too many people bitched and moaned how their 'great QB' kept tossing the ball into an INT on a Throw Away attempt.

Could be...but INTs and sacks are a good part of the game unless all you do is OC and/or build offense. It is certainly prefered over a throwaway, which just adds to the boredom.

I think it would be a move in a positive direction to just allow a QB to avoid throwaways completely using individual tactics. I thought that was the intention to begin with, but apparently QBs are throwing the ball away even when their tactics are set be aggressive with the ball.

I still believe it doesn't make football sense most of the time but I'm willing to concede that point. I will never concede that throwaways are beneficial, particularly when setting are dictating not to do it.

As a lover of defenses, I LOVE This idea!!! This means the QB's will be holding onto the ball much longer thereby allowing my guys to record more sacks! Sweet! +10 GRAND!XD

You do realize that if it did result in more sacks, bort would just nerf the pass rush back down to where it was a wash and all this arguing would be about replay text.

Then I'll equip my defensive players with hand grenades. One way or another I'm-a-gonna blow me up some QB's!

No.

I am sure they are working as intended but it is still intentional grounding.

The bug moderators are making me really sad. Do they understand the game of football. Perhaps it is not a prerequisite, but it might be beneficial.

Is this the NFL?

Okay ... Is this rugby? Badmitton?

At what level of football outside the NFL, is that NOT considered grounding?

The reward of throwing the ball away and robbing the D of a sack, has to have the risk of needing to throw it near a receiver and possibly getting picked IMO.

How many times have you seen a QB just as he's getting hit, try to throw it away / to a short receiver and put a wobbly ugly duckling in the air that a LB picks off. Bledsoe was classic for those ...
