look another terrible yellow suggestion

I actually did propose back in the day that maybe 1 out of every 1000 dots be invisibly tagged as "superstars," which would give them a 5% bonus to their attributes. No one would ever know for sure who was a superstar, I just thought it would be cool to have some dots that were better than their build. An alternative would be to give a "super season" bonus of 5% to attributes. I don't know, I get some odd enjoyment out of seeing dots perform better than you think they should.

I actually don't hate the basic concept of the OP. The suggestion as-is gets a thumbs-down, but the idea of the occasional known dot with a little something extra doesn't offend me. As far as "rich gets richer" goes, it's certainly better in that regard than the rolling level cap.

If you have to take the first 2,695 dots to level 79 in order to get the 55 superdots, why wouldn't you take the 55 superdots to level 79 too? (The OP did specify one superdot for every 50 normal dots, right? I admit that it's a yello1 thread and I may have lost brain cells trying to make it make sense. I know I've already lost them by responding to the thread, twice.)

You are aware that teams can consist of players owned by more than one agent, correct?

The difference between this and X Factor is significant

First off there would be fewer of these than dots who were X Factors. So the impact would be limited.

More importantly you would KNOW these were Super Stars (if i didnt mention this, the OP was assuming that this status would be in the Dots description. Maybe even a special set of icons, like a Star with their Position letter in it.



It wouldn't matter if you knew or not. Right now, you have a fairly good chance at completions on long bombs into double and triple coverage. Now add in a QB and WR combo with Superstar status and it just gets downright insulting.

It is still alot of dots to get to that point.

In all seriousness, I myself do not yet have 50 level 79 dots yet.

And, frankly. if the cost of adding a couple thousand fully upgraded dots to the GLB rosters was a team of Super Stars - thats well worth the price, because its 50 much more competitive teams on the league rosters than there are now.

But as noted above, just hard capping the number of Super Stars on a team would solve the issue anyway.

No, not now, not ever.

First off the chances of completing into double coverage needs to be nerfed anyway. And the powers of a Zone coverage to be counted into the double coverage needs to be boosted.

Secondly, so triple cover him!

In fact that makes me want to add - Super Stars should be taggable at ALL positions. So you could set up your AI to compensate for where on the field the Super Star is lining up.

EDITED OP to include hard caps, variable lower ALG boosts, and the ability to tag a Super Star at any position.
