Like I said earlier, Amazon and Ticketmaster will accept payment and account setups with credit card only, not requiring a bank account.

I can't think of any service provider, other than PayPal, that requires this. I can see it on some $100,000 purchase on Ebay. But for $25 worth of flex points? Laughable.

Alky's suggestion is the only thing that can be done at this point. Last time I needed to get some FP, I circumvented the whole account thing in this way.
But I have to agree, dump Paypal. I used to use them all the time back when they started out alongside ebay but by now they're one of the worst of the mega companies on the webs. Hacked accounts are commonplace and I didn't know that until after mine was hacked. The way it was dealt with is my main problem with them. I had to hold their hands through the entire process and actually point out duh-level obvious potential solutions. Ridiculous to have to help customer service help you when they are paid to do it. They are a bunch of fools and can't be trusted. Bloated, Insecure and Incompetent: The new Paypal™.
Rant done...bottom line is that paypal has maneuvered itself into being the only option for a lot of people so unfortunately it will be staying with GLB, but it isn't unreasonable to want another option for those who would be able to use one.

I guess I should have also added that I despise paypal even though my points may show otherwise. It is really a monopoly on the system though.
Go to walmart...buy one of those credit cards they sell there by the checkout (use your credit card to buy it so walmart won't get your bank account #)....use it to buy flex....problem solved.

In this day and age GLB should be able to accept payments directly w/o a middle-man too.
