That just makes no sense. Why should I (as a regular league owner) be required to buy a PW team and then move my roster over after the first season?

So it's like that huh? **** peewee. **** peewee agents. **** peewee flex? I've been on regular teams in regular leagues. It's boring. It's player building and that's it. It's just not fun for me or worth me wasting time and money on. I'm sure some peewee guys will stick around and jump through the hoops for a while, but I feel they will pretty quickly fade away along with their flex.

Doesn't sound so difficult to me.

If you want to make this a PW vs. regular league debate you will lose. You are what's wrong with PW, tbh. Rather than make your league type better you would rather shit all over another.

I think it took me around 7 minutes to sign 30 dots last night.
I just signed a player, took a whopping 12 seconds.

Peewee is awesome. WL and Pros are too. Rookie is just a stepping stone league. Why not let agents have one season of fun before the long boring journey up the ladder to have fun again?
I imagine if you are already part of one of the long time established networks the journey may be different. Not every user is so lucky. Most regular teams I've been on have no clue of how to play or build. They argue on the forums and they all seem clueless. Then without word the team gets sold or abandoned. It seems to happen over and over. This has been my experience with regulars anyways. Is this what we want to present to new users?
Something needs to be done one way or another, the user base seems to be dwindling. I would hate to have some mid level team and be a relative nobody here. I don't think I would be able to recruit more than a handful of players if I was lucky. The entire system needs to be rethought or peewee will not be the only league fading away.

Just not enough users to do much I guess. At this rate GLB may have to cut peewee, casual, and D-League if they want the game to survive as is and keep the ladder system in place. That is why I question their whole approach and system. The game itself is still great, but something just isn't quite right. Wasn't that long ago peewee copper was mostly human teams and the free agent market was pages long.

I don't think it's that users don't have fun in both(in most cases) but I think it has to do with being competitive. People realize that if you don't boost 6 times(minimum of 700 flex for 1 season) and get full CE(at the least another 90) than your player will struggle to be competitive even in just the beginig. If you want a long term Dot now you realize you should actualy buy CE and not rent (another 600 flex) the free player helps with this, but a lot if guys do get bored when they only have 1 Dot to watch in the rookie leagues. So their answer is simply avoid it. The fact us in order to build a long term dot, and make him competive from start to finsh your looking at spending a minimum of 1100 flex(for like a K or so) for just the first season and alot of people don't wana do that, so they try out PW. Only problem is, when you get to PW, Owners want you to boost and get CE as well, but you don't want to spend 500 flex on a guy who has value for a total of 1 season. Especialy not when this 1 guy is a OT or Punter.
The way this game works now, you have to be willing to pump flex in at a ridiculous rate just to remain relevant at any level. No room for the little guy who only is willing to throw in 25 dollars a year it so(me)

peewee seems to need some shot in the arm. I have made a couple extra dots in the last couple of seasons (advertised them as non-boost, etc) ... and get tons of rookie team offers and not much from pee wee teams (and many of the pee wee teams have all or tons of cpu dots)

In almost any organization, the grass roots are the most important. In any amateur sport you try and get as many beginners to sign up as possible. You want to create a pyramid and funnel as many people as possible from the lower ranks to the top.
Many amateur sports lose sight of this and pay too much attention to the elites, or top of the pyramid. All at the expense of the entry level participants. It's not hard to predict what happens to that league...they fail.
Same thing applies to GLB. Entry level players should be welcomed with open arms and placed in one league...at the bottom of the pyramid. Hopefully there they can learn from experienced players. They will make mistakes like all of us, but hopefully they will have fun, finish the year, reroll and try and get better. It is a mistake to seperate them into peewee, rookie or D leagues. Put them into one league.
Huge mistake to be dismissive and say " Peewee doesn't matter". It does matter if you want GLB to remain strong.

I didn't say peewee doesn't matter. I stated that if you want to pit PW against rookie rather than try to improve PW that there is no point in having PW.

Some have said PW doesn't matter. I didn't say you.
Obviously my communication skills are lacking. Peewee can't be improved without hurting rookie league. That's assuming that peewee can even be improved to get to that level ...it can't. So therefore scrap peewee and lose some long time owners of GLB ? Makes sense.
A rookie league and a peewee league is redundant. The rookie league agents are reluctant to go peewee because they want to ensure they can get level 79. The majority of peewee owners prefer one and done, but, in the past, many have moved players/teams all the way up to pro from peewee. Entry levels shouldn't have to make that choice. One entry league, period.
