+1 however instead of it being for the QB why cannot it be at the bottom of each play.

So you can set the default for each play and if you are an OC on multiple teams you can always control the progression. This would also give defenses a tough time because if you change a progression throughout the season it could give wrinkles to a throwing offense.

This is basically what I'm saying. Progressions are not to be tied to the QB, but rather the play.

Peace,

Can you give me play list that includes the default progressions for every passing play? Well, not screens

I'd love to have a copy of that too.

I always thought the default goes

Primary Target - WR1 - WR2 - WR3/TE/HB/FB -WR4/TE/HB/FB - WR5/TE/HB/FB

In those orders.

I'd like to know if this is fact.

I don't see how it can be. How does that progression handle plays other then the WR1 being primary? How does the 3rd through 5th progression work? (Can't target 4 receivers at once). How does the BTE factor in?

What? I said in that order

If you get let's say sg te drive, the primary target is the te. Progression is

Te - wr1 - wr2 - wr3 - replay progression

On third down that progression is the exact same.

If you te block left it goes

Wr1 - wr2 - wr3 - replay progression

5 wr formation would go

Primary target - wr1 - wr2 -wr3 - wr4 - wr5 - replay

All I formations would go

Primary target - wr1 - wr2 - te - hb - fb - replay

Sb formations

Primary target - wr1 - wr2 - wr3 - te - hb

Bte is recognized after te in 2 te formations from catch's wording on g2g and which is considered the higher depth chart position. So progression would go

Primary target - wr1 - te - bte - hb - fb

Or

Primary target - wr1 - wr2 - te - bte - hb
