Here are the Karma system rules as dictated by GLB.
Section F: Karma System
We are currently testing out a rough version of a user controlled moderated forum tool(s). We have plans to increase the effectiveness of this tool, but as of right now, the tool will allow users to vote a specific thread or post up or down. Each vote will affect the "karma" of the post and/or thread. This is a common tool used on pubic forums and comment sections of web sites, so many of you will be familiar with the functions of these tools.
Posts, will have a set threshold. A vote down will move the post closer to this threshold and a vote up will move it further away. If the post receives enough votes down to reach or pass this set threshold, it will automatically collapse the post from public viewing. The thread is still accessible to anyone, if they choose to expand the collapsed post. It also still can receive votes up or down, at this point. So, if this "hidden" post receives enough votes up, it will no longer be hidden.
How the Karma will affect a thread is a bit more unique. If the original post of the thread receives a set number of votes down, It will be locked and If it receives enough votes up, it will be unlocked.

Abuse of these tools may lead to a suspension.
This includes ganging up on a user to hide their threads or posts. Moderators and Admins will have the ability to fix a threads or posts karma at any time, so don't think pursuing this would be permanent.

DUBJ gets mad that the karma system locks one of his threads. A thread he doesn't particularly like is unlocked by same system. then makes a baseless accusation.

A former mod got pissed off about a 30 day ban so he left and created his own site. He logs on occasionally with at least 15 different accounts and immediately locks and unlocks threads.

So since dubj gets his thread locked and the people unlocked a thread he thinks is a shit thread(regardless of him posting once if not twice per page) he gets but hurt a mod (who probably posts in his glb lounge pf) comes to make sure hes feeling ok. as a mod you should know that the karma system is weighted, so maybe, just fucking maybe, people who haven't voted a whole lot locked that shit up. and then it the system gets circumvented by a mod who has a hard on for dubj and his friends.which is just further proof of a user colluding with a moderator of the site based off of eronious claims, after the user has shown blatant disregard and abuse of the system himself.
