true, but that's one small drawback to the microtransaction business model, not directly related to this thread. however, this suggestion also helps with that issue by allowing agents to pay for the game in a different way

Your problem is created by the fact you want to play the game in a way in which it's not currently intended. My problem is created by lack of contraction by the PTB. GLB is in an age where the userbase needs to be pulled back together like it was in the earlier seasons.

This is kind of true. The userbase is pretty scattered, but the problem is that it isn't season 1-4:

You don't have the entire userbase playing in four age groups.

It takes what 8 seasons now to get to level 72? Contraction isn't possible because teams are scattered right accross the spectrum. It also makes it harder to code changes because what is working at one level might be broken at another level.

They barely have the time to code the changes for the regular game, they certainly aren't going to spend time any time soon making the game work for underground leagues or Pee Wee. Maybe a few seasons after 'they come out of beta', but right now there aren't even any suggestions going for voting.

When's the last time there was a suggestion to vote on? When's the last time they had time to hard code one of the voted on suggestions?

People who are looking for major changes are better off finding bugs rather than making suggestions. Catch and Bort are going to do what they are going to do for now, and if the new game is to be released in the next year, I'm guessing they aren't going to have time for fringe leagues like Pee Wee or Iron Man for a long time.

You pretty much stated things that I unintentionally left out. If this game was still thriving like it was around say...season 6, I would have no problem with this suggestion. As it stands right now, Bort and DD need to work on keeping what they already have.

I spent 13k flex to boost and build my players in PW. It's done.. Gold will be a 4 teams boosted..

actually no. my problem is created because other people are playing the game in a way it's not currently intended, and it's negatively impacting my game experience--and the GLB admins aren't doing anything about it. This is my suggestion about something they could do about it, while generating additional revenue, and also not appearing like the bad guy.

now, if the game were to change the way it was intended to be played, then I might try something new, which might cause me to increase the amount of flex I buy.

I believe that GLB is at an age where it needs to expand it's user base. It needs more new agents to survive in the long term. Forcing it's current user base into a more confined area for the sake of appearing more cohesive and stable is just as likely to cause a population decrease as it is an increase.

Not really sure what you're saying. It's intended to have a full roster just like an American football team IRL and to have that dot work it's way up to the top.

This is not real Football! THIS IS NOT THE NFL... This is a made up game from a team that makes money of us for the last 4 years..

So wouldn't the most direct route to solving this problem be to reduce the number of teams? Stop selling new teams, and as teams get abandoned or sold back, don't re-sell those either.

The very heart of that entirely separate issue is that some positions aren't as fun as others. Players would rather play a QB than an offensive lineman. The problem is that only 1 QB can be on the field at a time, but there's 5 o-linemen. They only way to satisfy the demand for QBs and other fun positions is to increase the number of teams. Otherwise there's too many QBs and not enough teams. but again, that's a whole separate issue...

The idea of moving current teams from one area of the server to another has no effect on population issue. That's my counter argument. All of these alternate leagues are already happening. The teams already exist; the [players on those teams already exist. I'm just asking that they can be put someplace else.

Gee, it sure would be awfully nice of them to stop playing the game the way they want to play it, and instead play it the way the rest of us are... but that isn't going to happen.
