That would be ZMs arguement

Maine knows how to stop it, if only they shared their findings

This right here proves that the SA is overpowered if only one team out of 32 is able to stop it. (Just for fun I would like to see them vs a team that has a Qb with 12 in PF just to see if they really can shut it down)

You say the coverage is too tight but that play came from a team with the number 3 passing defense in the league...I would hate to see what the teams behind them look like

LOL your magic 8 ball is incorrect........

And as LE stated Maine stops the PF.....as I will agree that SBWL does utilize the PF.
But really 12??? That is way too many points to put into an SA.....30 points into an SA not too mention the points that you would have to use to get the others up so you can run it that high.........that would be more than half the build or close to it......

I think anybody that spends SP in PF past 6 is crazy......I have done it in the past and I have not see much difference running it past that....just not worth the SP's at that point for very little difference........7 with lvl 8 equipment is plenty to get the result against those that can't defend it......

I think everyone could agree that Pee Wee was not made for games to be decided on SAs...If we wanted to see SAs fire and change games we would all just join the other leagues of GLB.

I think that is a very valid argument and point. Some wanted PeeWee to get away from the craziness of the SA's and VA's in the upper leagues......

I personally would hate to see PF go but if it did so be it......

um your QB has pump fake, look at your last playoff game on your team. outside the screens, he hit pump fake quite a bit early im the game. You have been abscent for a while and maybe you forgot but pump fake has been on going since season 15 or so. Dharma started the abuse and most teams followed. If we get rid of SAs, pee wee will become boring because without the running game, we would have scores of 14-10 again with PENALTIES deciding games. good times good times.

My suggestion is figure out what Maine is doing to prevent them. Most of it is positioning. Maine covers offensive players by covering from long distances to trick the dots into being in the right place at the right time to cover areas they are not really covering. They are basically just in the way. When they do get pump faked they recover very quickly. What SA could help them do that? Lots of vision and change direction maybe?

These are all pretty much the reasons why my brother and I are done playing PeeWee. It's just not pure like it use to be. It is Pump Fake PeeWee and it's just garbage. The unbalance of not being able to effectively run the ball, forces you to go high pump fake and run a shit load of screen passes. Our playoff game vs. Gerr and 85 Bears, we got the shit Pump Faked out of us. The whole thing just leaves a bad taste. We wanted to give it one more go for old times, and we did fairly well. But it's pretty obvious PeeWee has passed us by and I'll be the first to admit that. We're gonna give it a go in Rookie and hold on to a team for awhile. If anybody is interested, let me know. Any GM that joins, we'd like help picking a team name. Full custom and boost though. Have fun with the PeeWee those of you who stick around, I'll miss it.

Yea Pump Fake has been here for a long time and I do remember it back before I left, but I never remember it being this powerful and as much of a game changer as it is now. My QB has it because it makes for a nice added advantage to your offense that I think needs to be nerfed. I think if they git rid of SAs that change games then they could work more on our passing boost and other things that Pee Wee desperately needs.

A lot of us have vision and change of direction (at least I know my dots do on SOA)....If only ONE out of 32 teams can stop it don't you thing there needs to be a change made? If we all scouted Maine and used their defense don't you think Pee Wee would get even worse/boring than it already is? You would have 32 teams running the same defense lol... how would that keep any of us interested in Pee Wee? Next season might also be my last in Pee Wee if nothing is changed and I will be joining on with another one of these agents to try and make a trip to the WL because I might as well waste my money on watching the real sim as TT stated it.

true.

I sent a PM to catch early this season, said that Pee Wee was slowly dying and if they would be interested in a few ideas to promote Pee Wee. He replied back that he couldn't see anything other then a $$$discount$$$ and they were not interested in that.
I stopped the conversation right there.

As involved as I have been in Pee Wee, I know this is short sighted. I was prepared to come up with a few ideas to get agents interested in Pee Wee, but decided to not try by his response. Maybe it's worth another try, but unless GLB starts selling Pee Wee - it will die.

I think one thing they could do is funnel new agents to Pee Wee. New agents have zero chance in building a usable long term dot, so Pee Wee is the perfect place to learn how building works.. ALGs/build efficiency.. and to learn how attributes work as well. If a new agent jumps into long term building, it's just a waste of money. We all know this game is not CHEAP. If I was Bort, I would be looking for more big spending agents, and Pee Wee is a perfect place to get those type of agents hooked.

just another thought on the "If I was Bort" and new agent thought process... The other thing I would do is create a scaled down version of GLB on Facebook - make it free - and advertise the full version. Someone needs to start a thread on the GLB main forum... "If I was Bort"... would probably get ugly, but it would be funny as hell.

This. And it's a quick hit, too: new agents get to see a balanced dot in a single season, and mess around with skills in a way that is disastrous for long term builds, but fun for short term builds. And that - to my mind - is more likely to keep them around. While the build process is different, the ALG/build efficiency/learning about attributes and SAs are very helpful to new agents if they move on to long term builds. But GLB doesn't funnel agents to Pee Wee. It did the opposite, really, when the APD-free boosting dot thing meant everyone wants to boost in the off season.

Has anyone tried Super Vision to counter pump fakes? I did that this season, but since I only made half the players on my team and none are boosted, I wasn't really able to put enough into it or be able to compare to anyone else.

Yep, can't stand that Catch guy. I think that was a very bad move hiring him as an employee. I know he has to look out for his best interest which is make the GLB company money but it's the way they handle themselves through responses. It's my way or the highway.

Everything is broken in pee wee at some point in time. Running game is a huge joke and the main reason why pump fake is gone bezerk. When you have 10K yds passing to 2K yards rushing, there is an obviouse problem.

Yea they really should have thought through that a lot more and maybe add some days to the plateau and make it where they can't boost the player until day 0 or whatever but they can still get the player to level 79. Most new agents that go to the FAQ forum are always told to use their free player as a long term build which would make them ineligible for Pee Wee. I am sure that most new agents won't even know what Pee Wee is until they go into a Pee Wee forum. That is pretty sad on GLB's part.

My suggestion would be to get rid of rookie leagues or move the level cap for Rookies up to 10-whatever so that agents are forced to either use Pee Wee or D-Leagues. Long-term builds can work in Pee Wee it just takes a while for them to be relevant at this level, but if a team is able to make it to the playoffs in their league their builds will be just as good as most of the people that built 1 and done dots...but for this to happen many changes would have to be made like a nerf on SAs (So that the long-term builders can compete if they want).
