I remember reading that document carefully (3+ years ago) and thinking through what Dlight had to say.

At the time, it was one the earliest theories for how to think about the game analytically rather than just pushing speed and ignoring everything else as flames54 advocated.


But yeah, the game and our understanding of it has advanced quite a bit in the past 22 seasons

I have about 15 retired LBs from that era that also allowed zero receptions for their entire career....I guess that makes me the greatest LB builder of all time
