Because they are random and flukish. Great special teams gets you extra yardage on any particular return, but busting something open for a touchdown requires something unusual to happen. .
Completly wrong as it is all about the right dots in the right spots on KR teams. Having some STOPS who could block and not only hitting helps as well.

Trying to figure out what "something good" constitutes. I guess a 3 season run and making it to the conference championship doesn't rate. Must be a short list of teams that has done "something good".
