I just don't think it's true this season. Either most WL DCs including myself are idiots or you are the best DC iin WL (could be true).

Throwing a DE or safety in a flat zone is not going to solve the problem this season.

I am with Bevo here.

There is more at work than just putting dots in place to make plays. Defensive pathing is the worse I have seen it in a long time (dots running into players and just running backwards and stuff) that make these plays really really hard to stop.

Just remember that just cuz you put dots in teh right place, doesnt meant they'll make the right play.

I actually think this is the most defensively oriented sim in several seasons.

I think so too but that doesnt mean it's overly fun for a DC.

If you mean defensively oriented because defense is harder to work effectively, then I agree.

It's harder to complete downfield passes, which was the only thing that occasionally hurt Taut's defense in the past, so I can see why he would believe this season favors defenses. He was also extremely vanilla in his schemes already, so this sim forcing defenses to go more that route didn't really affect him either.

yes..you have to work your ass off as a DC this season to be decent...even then it's not working for me
