He was only really, really good his junior year, another year in college would have served him well.

No hard feelings here, I do believe Peyton has proved himself plenty in the NFL. Also, I seemed to remember Tennessee absolutely demolishing Michigan a few years ago in a bowl game. You know, it was the one where Jason Witten outran the ENTIRE Michigan defense for a 60-yard TD. Witten is a TE btw.

Woodson over Manning....I cannot stand Peyton and we all know which one is going to the Hall and who is not.

ND will have a bouce back year. Ty left us with 2 good classes and 2 poor ones. If an ND fan did not think we would be in trouble last year then they are on crack. We will win 8-9 this year and then be alot better in 2009. We have all Freshmen and Sophomores. You will get yours when USC beats you down. How is Maurice Clarrett doing? Some teams actually have some class. Ohio St and TN are not included.

UT players may get arrested for the occasionaly weed smokin' or fight in da' club, but I don't think we've ever has ties to the Israeli Mafia like Clarett and god knows what else Ohio State does. Who even knew the Israeli's had a mafia?

Knew it wouldn't take long for ND fans to blame Ty for his recruiting (even though Fat Charlie has been there what, 4 years now?)

Maurice Clarett is scum, and luckily was kicked to the curb quickly.

The most popular ND fan blogs all had ND at 8+ wins last season. Then again, most think Charlie Weis is still an offensive genius. USC beatdown, interesting prediction. It will definitely be a close game, much closer than the line. You want easy money? Bet on Ohio State because the line will WAY underestimate them. Guarantee its off by at least 7 points what it should be. You think Mark "Dirty" Sanchez will be able to do anything? Ask Colt Brennan how that worked.

lol, we got Onterrio Smith from Tennesee, he got kicked out of there for Smokin. And later on he went on to the Pro's and I'm sure now his only paycheck comin in is from the Whizzinator Co.

Come on now. You actually think I'm gonna get worked up over you mentioning Michigan getting embarrassed in a bowl game? I'm 35 years old- that's practically a birthright. Our regular season has always had so many rivalries (ND, the little brother MSU and that team down south) bowls rarely motivated them.

The same Michigan hype machine that got Woodson the Heisman (classic matchup against David Boston that year) is likely what's keeping the college playoff system away- we know we couldn't stay focused to do well and, after all, we ARE Michigan!!!!!!
