If a network means "do we have a lot of dot builders who only build dots for EEA" then yes, we have a great network

I suppose our farm system could be considered a network, but we do not have more than one team per generation of dot. Devonport is the main team with the S7 - S8 dots. DV is our first farm with S11-S12 dots. NSW is our second farm with S15 dots.

IMO, a true network is where there are multiple teams for a given generation and there are more than 1 team's worth of dots within that group. For instance, Guadalcanal was part of the Axis network, and was able to pull dots from 2 other Pro teams in order to get the best roster to get to WL. If EEA is a part of that type of scenario (say with a team like Windhoek in WL), then I would consider you guys in a network. Otherwise, I would not call a group of agents dedicated to a team a network.

Asau is no network. I started the team myself in season 8 owning like 25 of the players and went out and recruited all these guys. Some have been with us for 10+ seasons after I recruited them tho, My first recruit was DT Toad Wall and he is still with us today! We just started a new team this off season with all the agents associated with the team (probably similar to what Devonport did 10 seasons ago) I started playing end of season 7 I believe

The merge with Athens was a big move for us parting ways with a lot of good guys but I think it was needed to get over the hump, we'll see when the dust settles this season

-Key to our run was to keep surrounding our team with GREAT experienced GM's and ex-owners who could offer advice and it definitely helped in recruiting when we got to the higher levels. At this level recruiting is all about who u know

Recruiting is a pain in the neck, but as a GM, that's also the best part of this game. Nothing like having to sign 30-40 players every season and having no friggin clue where they're going to come from!

I think I might have mentioned something about that when I was trying to find my WR a team. My WR was cut by WWR after they made the WL and was promised a spot on EEA or SoA but but the only offer he got was from Bora Bora.. Was that something that needed to be kept a secret?

Why would that be a secret? Teams shift players between them all the time. It's not like I could not figure it out on my own if I had wanted to (i.e. the Asau - Athens merger).
