Pretty sure I +1ed every suggestion made regarding the pumpfake.

I'll say again Lunch Box had 0 points in pump fake until the palyoffs last season, I saw it as a very very lame way to win...

Until late in the season when EVERY other team had picked up the game... we stayed away from it.

I've not run a pass play that has only 3 routes being run in the history of my coaching...

Not everybody was doubling the receivers... in fact the only team Lunch Box faced all season that doubled every receiver was Maine.

Are you just praising Maine because they knocked your team out of every tourney?

No? I'm saying they showed that it was very easy to stop our offense last season... that super rigged overpowered one you keep talking about.

Take a look at the UT Pimps vs PNP game last season where they absolutely turned us into roadkill... I had the receivers double covered...and the HBs double covered and they put up close to 700 or something yards passing...a lot was due to the PF, but most of it was due to the double-triple covering of receivers not being enough...

Maybe against YOU. but Maine ran a very pass heavy defense against us. They double teamed every receiver?

Nope, they never played us...check out all of their games

Maybe you couldn't make an attempt at stopping UT's offense... but Lunch Box held them to 180 offensive yards with like 20 possessions... so obviously it could be done.

Actually, looking back on that game they scored 80+ points off of pump fake...

Also, keep in mind that this is through 5 games, I bet that during the 16th game this season passing will be "fine" and you will quit complaining

I'll take last seasons passing without the pump fake for 500 Alex.

The amount of misinformation and and opinions being thrown around in this thread and others is astounding.

If the goal was to dumb down Pee Wee then I think they have done as much. The offenses that are being touted as adaptive and doing well are the same crap we ran in Silver leagues many seasons ago. Any person who thinks they are being innovative are fooling themselves. I can't believe there isn't more outcry over this. You want realism in WR/CB interaction but its ok to be able to rush 4 times and gaurantee yourself a first down? Its cool that your 15 catch having FB is better at catching passes than your capped WRs? You're really ok with that?

As it is pointed out so often, albeit mostly when it benefits your agendas, we pay a premium to participate in Pee Wee season after season. Why wouldn't we want all aspects of game planning to be viable options? Every owner of a current or former Gold team knows the lameness of the lolslam offense... its kinda ridiculous to expect anybody to take someone seriously who is defending it.

I can actually remember back when I first started coaching with Nif how he and I often received hazing for our aptness to go with the all slam offense... something I've long since forgotten... but not for long...

Don't worry....

I'll "adapt" to this "balanced" sim hopefully before its too late... and come up just short because we built to be a strong passing team in the running team's sim.

I know I have a theory on how many receiving TEs will be made next season.... lets just say its at LEAST 1 per team higher in average than this season... but I'm sure that is just because of how "balanced" the sim is.

it's not always about the DAI ...the builds need to be of a certain quality to help overcome that also

you assume a lot here so is just merely an opinion

who is to say going up against the right defense lolslam would work ...the only peeps crying about this are from the teams that have shown to be cripped by the new sims and haven't found a solution to them as yet, whereas it was ok last season when your teams dominated other less fortunate teams ...somones misfortune is another's gain ...I think that you poor bastards are just gonna have to lump it until yas find a solution like how less fortunate teams lumped it in previous seasons when they didn't get the formulas right ...too bad so sad ...good luck next season

No.... I don't think we should just bend over and start building run heavy teams as a whole...

I say we make a fuss so they make changes this off-season which counteract the filth of this season.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to pass the ball right now.

Yes... you can play good defense and stop the run... Nobody said you couldn't????

I'm not saying running is overpowered... I'm saying its the ONLY choice.

Of course you can stack against the run... but the problem is... that even stacked against the run you aren't weak against the pass.

+1 to this tbh, but the sim is balanced...but nobody is being limited to a "lolslam" offense...you can go and pass and find ways to.
FT has the sickest offense in gold with amazing scouting of passing and run plays

Really? 35 passes to the HBs/Fbs and 9 to the Wrs and 5 to the TE.
Balanced?

When the LBs catch up with agility and vision and have better pathing, the HB/Fb passes will fade. Without a passing boost without pump fake the playoffs are going to be oh so entertaining to watch.
