If we bought out a conference we would already have a playoff system... Right?

Yeah, but I'm not sure if you guys would want to have the top 8 make it or everyone if it's 16.

I'm ok with just doing top 8
the bottom 8 can always challenge the top 8 in scrims during the playoffs

20 dots may not work, I ran a scrim yesterday with 20 guys on the roster. The sim re-ordered my depth chart before the first snap. I ran another scrim today with 26 dots and my depth chart stayed. I'm guessing there is a fixed number between 20 and 26 that is the minimum the sim will allow.
If 20 is the number everyone wants to do we could do 20 human players and 6 CPUs (or whatever the limit turns out to be).

I'd rather not do CPU it takes it out of the coaches hands and puts random factor in. It won't work with my 20 HB... I mean with my game plan. I'd say if that is the case just increase the number.
Is Bort willing to have us all in one league? This would be an extra team for me so it should make dollar sense.

I like no limits because it allows more strategy as far as setting a team up and could give ideas for the future of Ironman.
One of the reasons I've been opposed to the idea of creating one of these leagues in the past is because I worried that people will read too much into it.
What teams and players do at Level 1 is absolutely nothing like what they will do at Level 40, 50, 60, 72
Let's make sure that everyone understands that and doesn't read too much into what any of this means for a future Iron Man League. These dots will be very one-dimensional compared to a full-out two-sided build, and they should be treated as such. It'll be fun, but it means nothing when it comes to figuring out future Iron Man leagues

This is a Pee Wee league I believe? I'm so confused now.
What I was getting at is if one team builds 20 TEs and destroys everyone, the next season there will be 16 teams of 20 TEs.

that's all good and well if it stays in Pee Wee, but there are those of us trying to get an actual Iron Man league started. A long-term Level 72 Iron Man League.
All I'm saying is that I don't want people to see a team of all TEs dominate in Pee Wee and assume they would dominate at Level 20 or Level 40

I think it could be very difficult at higher levels. If your team's builds are not right it's not like you can go recruit new Iron Man players. I'm not sure if there would be enough interest to do it proper somewhere other than peewees.
Rather than sidetrack this thread by going over all the reasons why I disagree with nearly everything in that statement, I will instead invite you to click on the Iron Man thread link in my signature, read over the OP, and see if that changes your mind. And if not, then not.
But I wish you all well in your Pee Wee attempt and hope it brings some of the Iron Man enjoyment we've been trying to create for more than a year now.
