Above average teams are riding out their shelf-lives in stacked Silver leagues/conf rather than getting a crack at the premier league. Every season another couple are mothballed or sold back because the season to season grind w/out a 'promotion' wears on their talent pool or enthusiasm or worse, both. Teams and their owners/coordinators that have been in Gold since its first couple of seasons really lack the perspective to undestand why perma and others are frustrated that a team or two skirts the official rules every season.

I sold my team this season because it advanced by going 15-1 in an easy silver conference.

I was refering to the notion that a team that went 20-0 in copper... two seasons ago... lost in the 2nd round of a weak conf. playoff this season... and 'has been in silver before' was any sort of valid argument for the teams inclusion in Gold. The team skirted the promotion rules. If anything this whole thread is a condemnation of the Support staff.

This whole mess is exactly why I didn't respond when I received a PM inquiring if I would be interested in moving my team into Gold. I knew going straight from Copper to Gold would cause a shit storm. Although honestly my team was probably better than one or two that did get promoted. Of course on the flip side I'm sure there are several teams still in Silver that are better than my team. Which is where the bitching and moaning probably comes from.
