In real life, yes a MLB should usually either be in zone coverage or blitzing. However, GLB is not real life.

Now that is the passing formation MLB so he isn't a run stuffer, but no way I'm using him in a zone in GLB.

I have a young HH MLB (80 days). It's my first shot at building LBs and so am very inexperienced with what to train when. I think his start is very solid (74 STR, 65 TCK, 50 AGL and 73 *SPD equipped). Currently I'm doing a 4 multi-train on STM, VIS, CON and SPD although SPD isn't benefiting much now that it has been capped and is at 50 but I was going to keep training this way until my STR and TCK are finished with their last cap.

Being new to this adventure I'm looking for all the advice that I can get and so have been reading a lot in these threads. My goal is to make an LB that stops RBs dead in their tracks. Here are my questions:

1) Is TCK going to be my most important attribute and should I focus on capping it at 77 now?
2) My EQ is all in SPD right now. Good? or should I slowly move it over to TCK or STR to raise those more as I search for AEQ?
3) I've never liked pumping SPs into an attribute once the point cost goes to 6. Does that still hold true for LBs?
4) Extra SAs - I never hear anyone mention Gang Tackle. Is it a waste? By definition it would seem like a good way to make sure the play stops as soon as the MLB gets there.

1 whatever you cap highest and equip is most important. If you want to take tackling to 77 you need to focus the build on making a lot of tackles (high speed, good vision) and making big plays (MH etc)
2 move some if you want it, but only do that if your build and scheme take advantage of it
3 i think 74 is high enough to take any linebacker attribute for the most part. blitzer can take speed to 77 pretty easy though
4 to me it just seems like there are better alternatives for the extra SA than gang tackle, not like it's worthless but i'd rather have either first step or SV probably.

I love that they did that for blitzers. Full .5 for speed. That's awesome.

Super vision is good, playing in Casual AA and getting int's in blowouts, not so much.

but its a LB getting them not CB's or Safeties

Well if that's the case I can show you a linebacker with nothing in zone focus and had 16 int's in a better league that what you're in now.

his LB is also lvl 48 in AA, so it's not as bad as a level 55 in AA or 64 in AA.
