I'd be more impressed if he didn't have over 1/4th of all his yards and nearly half of his TDs in one game.

funny thing is we had a thread about how to handle Beantown... voted not to run up the score. Imagine if we tried...

EDIT: I would be more impressed with Finkle if they game was realistic enough for Kickers. No way he is getting MVP

Outside of playing 3rd and 4th stringers at every position (which pretty much no one even has), I don't think there is a a way to not run up the score against some teams. Even trying to "run out the clock" usually just ends up as "running into the endzone".

Ronin seems to run a lot of players out of position in blow out games, DT's at FB, the Punter at DT etc.

PS why all the hate Bolster? I mean I did offer you my kicker during the offseason after all.

This isn't a programming award.

It really doesn't make a difference how the coding is working: KZoo's kicking game completely changes them offensively, it forces you to play uphill because of field position and in their two biggest wins (against Philly and Detroit Nasty) Finkle was the difference.

Most VALUABLE Player. He's far more valuable in the game atm than a RB..any RB.

Having a Stud Kicker is the ace in the hole. We saw one today that made field goals from 50 with ease.

So are we not voting for any of the Philly D-linemen because the game mechanics are screwed up there? Of course not, you vote for who deserves the award the most. We are all playing the same game. It's not like Finkle has an extra special ability or something. Damn, people in this forum love to drink the haterade.

He scored all 15 points in our win over GSA as well....Morten is a stud AND he doesn't play in the EAST which has a ton of JV squads playing in it. The East has great quality at the top, but after that Finkle just runs up FG's on nobody's. Until he starts playing the studs of the East I'm not buying his hype. K-Zoo has only played 1 top 5 team so far, and it wasn't Chicago or DDL. He will have to prove to me in those games that he is a deserving candidate.

PLUS Finkle missed an extra point.....don't blame it on Marino either!

He was 6/6 against the Detroit Nasty and 5/5 against the Pushovers. Both are top 5 teams in the east. What more do you want from him? With that said, its not like the kickers face the actual opponents, they just kick the ball, it shouldn't matter who they are playing, it should matter the field goals they are making.

Only had one game under 100 yards, not too shabby for a first half.

Now if Greg can continue to run on teams in the second half, then I will talk more about his chance at MVP.

Hes definitley a great player, no doubt about that, but I always get wary when a player has one good game where he puts up most of his stats (see Osi Umenyiora Vs. Eagles)

Alstott has been impressive averaging over 4 ypc in 6 of 9 games. If he stays over 3 ypc every game down this stretch the mustangs go i'll give him props as the mvp.
