i think the only reason mergers happen is for the cool names that come out of it. except for the mess of a name Halifax has ended up with.

Sorry, but what is getting there "by yourself" mean. Do you mean 1 person who owns the team, OC, DCs, recruits etc.

If (and that's a big if) Arkadak makes it, it will be because of several independent agents who have great builds, and the work of 3 people. Not some big network helping recruit and supplying players, but 3 people who have been doing all the recruiting, coordinating, financial management, build advice, etc. for 2 teams.

I don't see how it's that big a deal how those 3 people came together.

these forum rules are harder to deal with than the new training system. i almost would rather work than play on glb now.

I could give a flying "you know what" that you guys decided to merge I just cant stand all the excuses....it is what it is....it's a MERGER.

What are there 10 players from Rhodesia on Arkadak? There are farm teams that provide more players in a season than that. Whenever a farm team disbands and sends 10+ players to a team is that a merger? I guess it's the name change that qualifies it as a merger?

And BTW - you are the one who brought it up.

Who's making excuses anyway? We merged. We aren't denying it. You may not like it, but we had our reasons, and the reason wasn't to make it to the WL. The reason was because we were tired of the amount of work it took for 3 people to run 2 teams.

I know I didn't want to recruit this season, and I had been doing 90% of the recruiting for Rhodesia. I'm also DCing a WL team, Arkadak, and may end up helping with LOL. I don't want to DC another Pro team on top of that work.

Thread started as me saying Arkadak merged followed by a facepalm.

Then the Arkadak people come in saying WE DIDNT MERGE, we just ______________

All I said was dont skirt around it, just say yeah, we merged and own up to it.

I get the reasons bro....that's never been my issue
