That's how the WL does it, and you can actually win flex there... Does it really matter if someone sees your pick? They also allow the PM option in the WL.

It gives it more strategy later on. With the rules on ties you can just pick the same as your opponent at the end if you aren't confident for any games that week. Then if you're wrong you still get the win

Edit: Also you can just pick the same time as somebody you think knows what they're doing and never make picks for yourself...

Does it matter, it's up to you... The gold league is harsh anyone can win at any moment... If you follow someone stupid you will just end up leading yourself into a trap. I could care less if someone uses my picks, when/if I lose so will they. These also helps OH-IO keep track of all the picks.

I mean most people here probably haven't done this before so if you follow someone that you think will be "smart" with their picks you could end up getting crushed, because teams also don't regenerate for the playoffs. If you are out of teams in the playoffs then you are out of the survivor even if you picked perfect all through the playoffs.
