Stats lie. My QB had a ton of trophies in AAA and PL back before the WL existed. He was considered one of the best. Guess what, most of those yards/TD came from passes to HB before the scat back nerf and he was on a championship contender every season. He was an average QB at best, yet still built better than 90% of the other QB because it was one of the first generation QBs to take strength to the 74 cap.

I've been out of the QB build game for a few seasons now, but in my research, most people screwed up their build by boosting just 1 or 2 skills really high. There was really no difference between 130 throwing and 100 throwing, and vision past a certain point was capped. If there was anyway to make a 100/100/100 t/v/s QB, that would be your best build. The key was a balanced build, but like I said, that was a few seasons ago.

My level 61 QB could certainly be 100/100/100 right now, if I chose to move gear around....I really don't think that would be ideal though.

it probably wouldn't. That was the ideal build around season 12 or so, but I stopped really paying attention. I know for the last three seasons, all the QBs on teams I was a part of whose took there throwing really high and neglected other attributes have sucked.

From what I have seen this season high vision plus high confidence has been truly ugly . Having results really good results relies far more on your gameplan ,OC, WR builds, Oline and QB tactics . As far as building QBs go PQ% is still king .

My retired QB has very similiar stats, he played behind a POOR offensive line...The builds on QB's has changed dramatically. I built 2 new QB's and they are both pocket passer but struggle a bit!

Here is my retired QB, nothing special, it really comes down to game planning..he finished number one in yards and TD's one year. It wasn't a pass heavy offense either, will link my RB who ran for over 3k yards and 59 touchdowns the same year!
