We're heavily invested in hometown hero and we waited to spend VP until we "knew" we would get home field

We actually held VA's on a bunch until after Hali game just to make sure, so switching it now would fuck us. Championship game hasn't been based on on points for or against in reg season(if both teams have same W/L record that is), as it just favors the team with the weaker conference.

epic fail if they switch home teams. They would need to give your entire team a VA reset immediately and you would have to get it assigned for everyone

For everything except the league championship game it has been regular season points allowed for several seasons now, and before that it was regular season points scored. Unfortunately the league championship game appears to be decided randomly.

There is always a risk in investing points to take advantage of a bug.
