Shy Town Bears would be in - but I already have players committed to the team that want to put on CE and boost.
how do I go about that?
If I cut them, then I need to recruit - if I keep them, they may complain that I am not keeping to my word.
( then again they may not be worried - and may have more flex to make players for me

This wouldn't go on this next season it is too close to the season. This would only be season 17+ most likely.

It's a nice idea, but you'll never get EVERYONE on board, so if even 1 team isn't on board then it defeats the purpose of doing it. There is always at least one asshole that will do anything to gain an advantage, I was simply pointing out that I would be more than willing to be that asshole.

It's a nice idea, but you'll never get EVERYONE on board, so if even 1 team isn't on board then it defeats the purpose of doing it. There is always at least one asshole that will do anything to gain an advantage, I was simply pointing out that I would be more than willing to be that asshole.

How about just for next season make it no CE then try and advance into no boost or CE in later seasons

If this happens, FT is totally in. We'd even be willing to lose a couple games to boosted teams if need be. If everyone just backs out once 1 opponent boosts then this is a huge fail. And if a team agrees to do this and then changes their mind to keep up with a boosting team (especially a team that never agreed to this), I'd lose huge respect for that team.
