Guzz, it's a valid point. In Silver 7, we (Crib Midgets) have beat a couple of teams like FT, Montpellier, and Who Dot who have done amazing jobs this season and I can admit that it is unlikely we could have matched their scrim results. The only difference I can think of is that those great teams were trying 100% to win those scrimmage games, and I suspect that their efforts against us were less than that with playoffs just around the corner.

So while I like our team and consider us a top PW team, I also don't feel we have really done anything to merit such a high placing in that list. I do think we'd crack the top 50 with ease but don't think we have earned where that script has us. Still, like juice eloquently stated, it has caused some great discussion and for that reason alone I am glad it was posted.

You can't compare Silver vs. Gold on a regular basis through reg season...

If a Silver Team had to play the season a Gold Team did with game planning and morale and chemistry changing from game to game.

A Silver Team would more than likely have more losses and a weaker chemistry/morale as games were decided over a period of time.

Good read though.

We are behind Booty Tappers, SOA, C3L and I am sure several others, I feel confident we are top 25 team in my own opinion.
We have made the playoffs every season in Gold that we were 100% competitive.

I see some other teams that look out of place, for this season also. I know it is only a script.

I see why it is called SOS

A few months ago I made a post about creating a PeeWee Ladder League. Where points were given for wins and points removed for a loss. I still think it is a viable idea, just needs to be worked out and have some support to get off the ground. It would be cool to let the top 50 teams continue to fight it out for superiority.

I pulled data for End Of Regular Season, but I'm away and can't run the rankings until tomorrow or Monday. I'll post those up when I can, and I'll also capture a final season 15 ranking d41.

Maybe SOS should have more weighting?

My Raptors are way too high. Should be struggling to make the top 50 imo.

The formula can't really be tweaked like that. The SOS weight is sort of self determining in a way, rather than in, say, RPI where it's picked ahead of time what to weight the SOS. Colley-Matrix is a little different and the math it's based on goes out the window if you start tweaking pieces of it.

I'll have to take your word for it

Updated to end of regular season - I'm hoping to get time to get the changes in the script for handling playoff games, and then I'll make a end-of-season 15 list on day 40/41.
