All I'm all for no boosting or custom eq to try it for a season. If we can get all 32 people on board let's give it a go. Just make sure no one who works for GLB is an agent on your team. (of course this is all pending whether or not by buddy makes it to gold in which case Horde goes CPU. But I'm sure he'd be down for it too...

I still like seeing dots at their finest... everyone should go support the Level 40 Pee Wee dot game.

Imagine a league where you create dots at level 40, but everything else is Pee Wee rules. Imagine the depth of the strategy, the ability to actually run a zone from day one without the dots getting lost.... the ability to use VAs... and boosting would give you 15 points, but who cares about 15 points compared to the 195+ that you've already assigned + regular equipment.

I'm thinking cost to purchase one of these players should be 1.5 times the regular purchase cost with a 50% refund on dots and normal refund on custom and boosts.

Yep, would be great. If anyone wanted to keep their players for the long term they could boost on day 40 after the championship game.

Do this every season until we have a more reasonable flex return system..

Retire player in 1 seasons; 90% flex return
2 seasons: 80% return
3 and on : 70%

Every one gets a team and 55 players. Build how you want. The only extra you pay is for custom eq. Move your team up through the ranks/lvls and anytime you want to restart you can. That'd be freakin' awesome.

Also a reasonable idea to work with in the future BORT!!

MMD will go no-boost/no-custom in S16. I think we could ideally get everyone already in Gold to do this, the tougher part would be convincing the teams that finally made it to Gold I think.

There will be that one team that will boost their entire team and claim it an accident just so they can win gold with the edge. I agree with LE here. It's a great idea, but some teams just won't follow it when they have something on the line. How would you enforce it? Can't exactly switch an L in the playoffs to a W. Plus how can one team tell if another team has CEQ or not? My Bears team would be all over this, but how can you enforce this?

There is a greasemonkey script for knowing if people have CE without there build being opened.

The point is that I don't think its going to need to be enforced...

Can someone put a master list together of who has confirmed and who has not? Direct contact with the team owner is probably the only way to confirm for sure. Count my Bears team as confirmed.

I was going to wait till we knew who all was going Gold first... just because most people are giving "only if everyone else does it" answers, I figure we can pretty much tell at the end of the season whos going to advance to gold.

Theres some other owners who havent stated whether they would adhere to the no boost/no CEQ policy as explicitly, but it has to be all or none...personally i would think everyone would rather not spend the money, but to each his own

Also to what end are we doing this? Just to save money or to protest something? Honestly if we want to protest and ask for something from Bort I'd be more inclined to do so, but just to save money that is lame. honestly you'd see a lot of owners just make all 55 dots themselves. I'd really like to see a flat fee for pee wee, even if it is say 30 dollars a season (15 dollars a month x 2) I think that'd be fair. Maybe make a league that just lets you get 55 free dots that are auto retired after one season.

C3L is in it to win it, until you can get a lot of confirmations of pretty much everybody is doing it. We'll follow suit, but no way we are not boosting when 10/16 teams boost and use Ce. That is just retarded, and I think most of the pee wee community feels the same. Count us as a maybe until I see all the confirmations, but it is a noble project that I approve of wholeheartedly. If you are really passionate about this EDB, make a list pm all returning gold teams so 24 owners (32 -8) and post it. Again I think it is awesome that you are actually doing some good things for the community with all your time on GLB.

Nice list, as I just made a post about it, but we are boosting until that list grows a little.
