Tana River, Alaska (AP): The BBB 12 league has just pasted the mid-season point. The playoff picture is starting to show itself. In the West, ten teams have better than .500 records. In the East, only six teams have winning records. This week again brings us some exciting match-ups. In the East, the current third and fifth seed battle while the fourth and sixth seed face off. In the West, the second and fifth seed square off while the third and fourth seed duke it out. These games could determine home field advantage when the playoffs roll around.

Last week Awesomeville was upset by the Blaze. Many of the experts bought into what Awesomville was saying. They have been talking their team up saying they would start off the season with 14 straight wins. They wanted to welcome Tecmo to Bearphin Stadium for the battle of the unbeatens. Unfortunately, they overlooked the other undefeated team, New Jersey. One Blaze player was quoted as saying, “They talked a big game. We came to their home and beat them like red-headed stepchildren. Let's see how much crying they do now.”

Philadelphia has had a good season up to this point. They are currently on a two game win streak after beating Ottawa in a defensive struggle. Many experts still have not bought into the Pigeon team. They still have some tough games ahead, but when all the dust settle the Pigeons will find themselves secure in the playoffs. They are looking to give Awesomeville their first two game losing streak. They will still surprise some teams and crap all over their cars, but Awesomeville will bring their BB guns and shoot the Pigeons out of the sky.

In the West, last years third and fourth seed meet up in Los Angeles. This season the Express have had a few unexpected losses. After losing to Honolulu, the team looked unmotivated when they faced off against Inferno the falling week. They then had a team let down against Possum Trot in week six. Thunder is the biggest test remaining on their schedule. After coming off a win against Long Beach, the Express seem to be moving in the right direction.

Last week Timpanogos dropped their first game of the season. In the battle of the West unbeatens, Honolulu showed the league they are for real. It will be interesting to see how the Thunder players react to this loss. A game like that could kill a team's moral. Being able to watch some of the teams practices, the coaches have the team still hungry. They were quick and mean. Two fights broke out at different parts of the practice. Thunder will roll right through LA this week as they continue to secure the second seed for the playoffs.

Ermmm, huh? All I saw was mutual respect from both teams after the game.

I think tyante was pretending just as he normally does in these write ups. He wasn't trying to make you all out as bad sports or anything.

Yeah because we never over look any team. I told Blaze to their face that we felt they had what it takes to beat us, which most teams in this league don't. I just everyone to be clear on that, we don't over look anyone (except the Sabers).

another good write up as always. I think this makes these games more fun reading your stuff. So I hate to break it to you but you have to stay in the league until the Slugs are ready to move on too ;-) Or you have to be a GM on the team so we can keep the write ups here!

You know I read this and hear the tune

Everybody wants to be a Slug,
because a Slug's the only Slug
who knows where it's at.

Yes I have kids otherwise I'd not have that tune in my head at all
