It looked like neither team wanted to win. Viks fumble, Saints 3 and out, Viks fumble, Saints 3 and out on and on and on. I thought Troy and Joe Buck where going to cry when Farve threw the INT. I would love to watch the whole broadcast again. It sure seemed like they where talking about the Viks a lot more than the Saints. How many Farve interviews did they have during that game? 3-4? It was pathetic?

I had promised myself I wouldn't watch the super bowl for the first time since I was a kid if it was Colts/Vikings. To every Packer Fan from a Bear fan, Congrats on watching the Vikes get Favred. Its nice to know that everywhere he goes he throws a pick to finish the season. Mid to late '90s don't hurt so bad anymore.

honestly i would have thought no true vikes fan could ever root for favre either, yet here i am sitting in minnesota, surrounded by favre fans... atleast they were favre fans up until yesterday.

I would have agreed with you 100%. As a diehard Vikings fan, it felt really weird to have him on the team this year. On the other hand, I am a Vikings fan and he was wearing the jersey and helped the team win some games that they probably wouldn't have won if Rosenfels or Jackson were there in his place. If you're a fan of a team, you tend to change your perspective of players based on that. The only current player I could not see myself rooting for is Michael Vick. I might disown the Vikings for good if they signed him.

I also would have felt dirty if we would have won the Super Bowl this season, the way everything went down.

In the end, we root for players on our team that help us win and we root against players on the other team that do the opposite. I respect what he has done on the field. I do not respect what he has done to his teams, teammates, fans, etc off of the field.

if favre had come to the Bears and led us to the conf championship or beyond, that would be the only possible exception for a Bears fan
