That being said though, it is a shame to see some teams go down because they can't keep a competitive roster, but such is the state of GLB, and I can only wish them the best of luck in seasons to come if they plan on restarting.

If I had to do it over I wouldn't have rebuilt. It was too tough to get to this level to scrap it all and start anew. There are now no rivalries as each season means a new league with usually a whole new set of teams. Any rivalries are now maintained via scrimmages.

Even in WEPL there are not many rivalries left. We are here since season 7, the only other long-time teams here are E-City (season 1), FFFDanes (donīt know for sure, I think season 8 or 9) and thatīs it (for Alpha). In Zeta I think only Korb and Stockholm were here when we came to this league.

Danes came season 9 when Portland did. But I s'pose you're right, not many rivalries left regardless.

nobody is ever willing to hang around and fight. you should have your agents build new players with the previso they will join the team again when they are capable of playing pro ball for you. you wont find underground dropping down unless i lose all the people around me who help run the team. thats the only way i can consider giving it up

Agree 100%, I've been working my ass off to field a competitive team each season and will keep doing so until I'm able to recruit a suffcient number of decent players.

Hitting the big reset button is how some people have more fun with this. Clawing it out is how others do. Keep doing what you consider fun, but try not to stomp on others rights to do the same.

(Personally I prefer scrapping it out, but then I haven't put the pound of flesh in to be an owner, so my opinion on the topic matters oh so little. )

The problem with gutting and starting again is that the lower leagues are very uncompetitive - you'll probably have to think about 1/3 of the games and even then only gameplan for one or two of those...I'd far prefer a losing record of close games at this level than walking through the capped leagues.
