Unfortunately for you this is a European forum, and in Europe the term football means the game in which you kick a ball into a goal. Yet thanks for the input, we appreciate it.

Ehh I would have to say Man U is my favorite Club team, I saw Man U Play Celtic I think back when the Linc first opened up in Philly and I've been a Ruud/Vandersaar fan ever since. I think thats what led to Netherlands being my favorite National team......that and the fact USA blows.

I love the way you Americans pronounce Van Nistelrooy or Vandersar

Not a Brit and not loathing it, but considering it boring and being german is almost as bad an offense I think

Although I still recall with horror during in my time in the UK 4 of 5 terrestrial channels showing soccer at the same time when I had no books or internet at hand. Yikes! After that experience I know you guys got it worse

I *love* calling the sport "soccer" over here. Brits tend to hate it when you don't call the sport "football". England failing to qualify for whatever girlie tourney they missed out on this year has made my summer.

The same thing happens in Belgium. We have 7 sports channels, 5 showing soccer, one showing darts or something like it, and one showing commercials round the clock... Plus you can watch the same game on prime one, prime two and prime three! Yeah! Like we're waiting for that!

Too true, to be fair the only Belgian beer I have had is Stella Artois but it is indeed a great beer.

God, before I heard that certain Scottish Announcer whose name escapes me at the moment say Ruud and Saar's name, I was wayyyyyyyy off aha, I used the wrong name for about 4 years and felt like an idiot when I heard it said correctly
