Yes.. but I don't think you understand that EVERY team in gold is supposed to be better than every team in silver. You can argue that the system is flawed but you must agree that that is the main purpose of the Gold League. Gold shouldn't need their best to beat the best in silver.

Uhhhhh well I will say that most Gold Teams are more savvy imo. There strength of schedule is brutal and to be .500 in Gold is a good measuring stick of success.

We all have to adjust every season to the new style of sim. Plus MANY coordinators coach in Silver and Gold or own a team in one or the other and coach for a sister team.

Do I think Gold Teams should be ranked higher than any Silver teams in a poll. Yes, after they have proven they can hang in a Gold conference consistently. Any Team can win on any day in my mind.

I go into each game knowing that I can lose. There are certainly some teams in silver that can play in Gold, and for whom I know that I could lose to on some days. Gold is the kind of place where 16-0 silver teams struggle to hit .500 on the season. The good teams gameplan for every single game. I don't have the time to 'gameplan', but I do watch every snap of my games to see where we failed and try to fail less the next game.

I'm in Gold because I learned to fail less and because (just like everyone else) Bort gave me a lucky sim on the right day and I got promoted. I'm still in Gold because I care enough to not fall down to Silver (but not enough to actually win another Trophy). So tournaments like this are a chance to prove that Silver teams can beat Gold teams. For Gold teams, it is a chance to maybe win another game or two if the sim Gods should desire it.

Or at least that's how I see it.

I think passing has countered what an early boosting team does. If you can select a good passing game, you can beat a team that outlevels by a lot.
