Look at the running game. In a competitive game, we expect/hope for 4-5 yards/carry both at the beginning of the season and at the end of the season. Why can't we expect the same consistency from the passing game.

I think 60% would be over powered for peewee and turn it into a passing league (not balanced) as the yardage from 60% of passes would be greater then anything the running game could produce (against teams who actually play a good run defense [see HHM, MMD, TIA, ...the other gold league teams, and a few silvers, etc.).

I don't think it would be over powered. I am thinking that statistically a 20/30 game for 150 yards would make for a much more interesting and true to life game. I think that a team that commits totally to stopping the run SHOULD be more vulnerable to the pass. It would force defenses to accept the fact that you can't cover every spot on the field on every play. It eats me up to know that that double safety blitz is leaving the middle of the field open to a post route that I can't even think about taking advantage of because I know that the wide open WR will drop the pass.

Realistically, no I don't think a team that runs Streaks on every play should complete 60% of their passes. That team probably shouldn't complete 20% of their passes. But a team that strategically passes the ball for modest 4 or 5 yard gains should expect for that game plan to at least have a chance at working.

See I'd be on board for a decent % based on short routes and open routes, like you suggest.

I just fear the way things are implemented in GLB - meaning a 60% completion QUOTA [which it always turns out to be rather than 60% chance] would be applied [intentionally or unintentionally (through oversight/coding issues)] to all passes. Meaning you complete 60% of what ever you throw [so 60% of mid range passing routes say 10-20 would be 6-12 yards a play per passing attempt [on average] which is far more then the running game can produce (unless your fortunate enough to play in copper or silver against teams that cant cover the outside run plays or leave gaping holes open for 20+ gains to balance out your YPC).

I am one of the people calling for passing to be improved, I just don't want them to over do it (as GLB seems to be a game of extremes - and ignoring common sense/obvious issues). I could live with it either way, and would like to see passing return to peewee, but I guess I'm just thinking out loud about how they'll fcuk it up this time!!!

I am suprised no tests have been run since the initial test, not to sound like an asshole but time is short, there should be tests every single day

I have publically and privately volunteered my services to help on the test server.

I have even gone as far and said I would not own a team next season if people had a problem with me testing and helping out the pee wee passing and my PM doesn't even generate a response.

Can we seriously get some work done on this Darkus, i understand you are busy which is why i offered to help.

I am super efficiant at my job which allows me extra time during the day for GLB, my bosses really can't say anything either(well technically they could if they wanted to) because I am the most productive member of my team.

I have to set up all the players first. There is no need to get antsy about it, I will get on to it when I can in the next day or so, test games can be run at regular intervals so it doesn't need to be one a day. I am also taking stock of the comments that are being put on here to summarise a plan of action for bort to focus on instead of just boosting it and that being it.

Just because I am doing this to help improve pee wee games it doesn't mean that I am at your beck and call for every little thing. I haven't even responded to people that I speak to on a regular basis on here at the moment. The changes won't be implemented this season. I can understand your frustration Rob but the decision to help out on the test server is nothing to do with me.

Well I tried everything I can do, I even talked with an Admin about me possibly helping.

no response yet and no new test results.

this is not a slam at Darkus because he has already said he is busy and I understand that but I knew there needed to be more than 1 person assigned to the cause.

there has not been a single test since the baseline test a week ago.

I guess season 13 will not be a passing season

Yep. Not Darkus's fault, one guy can only do so much (and he's already done more than his share for peewee in general). The powers that be need to let a few more people in to rep peewee and do the tests, they still might come up with something for the passing game next season (but without tests I fear, if they do buff passing they will make it overpowered).

I can send a PM out to a few of the testers I know, maybe they can help out
