In my humble opinion it's best to take the minimum so your team can sign as many good players as possible. ;-) Plus you generally have to pay backups more because they get to train harder. I sincerely hope that you can earn that money, and BTW this is this league's only returning ProBowl MLB from last season talking.

Nah, We all play for the minimum, and when someone hits an EQ level, 8/16/24/ect... We renegotiate and give them the bonus needed to upgrade. It's like we're a team or something...
