Steelers are in transition. If they are going to be a pass first offense (their strength now) the D needs to be adjusted a bit. Lebeau's system relies on winning TOP. The irony is, I'm pretty sure the Steelers were winning TOP going into the 4th these last 3 collapses.

I think they will work it out - but it's not as easy as Troy showing up. I believe Woodley has entered witness protection or something. Letting Ben continue to put points on the board is a good way to close out games.

Yeah sucks the mule is going to be out this season. It is tough to come back from an ACL in 4 months. I am not sure if he comes back for the playoffs if he will be half the mule he was before.

The NHL like as playoffs and stuff?

i'm hoping he can come back after the olympic break in march. was pretty sad when i heard the news

Scares the shit out of me TBH. And 4 months is pretty optimistic, let alone be able to perform at the level he was before the injury may be asking a lot. But, the Mule is a tough SOB. Got to be rough for the Wings after signing him to such a huge long term deal as well. Ugh, just shitty all around.

Yeah, my roomate told me when I got in last night. She hesitated to tell me for a couple hours. She had to set me down and break it to me gently. It was like telling me a family member had passed. (Pathetic to most I know... but thats how much the Wings mean to me. You will NEVER find a bigger fan of the Wings than me. EVER.) I know, I should get a life... but the Wings ARE life!

On a much better note... I DO have a main room ticket to the HHOF to see Yzerman's (& Hull, Leetch, Robitaille) induction ceremony in Nov.! The weekend will consist of:
1. Sat. Wings @ Leafs game. (12th Row Corner ticket!)
2. Sun. Legends Classic game. North America HOF vs. World HOF (Quite possible the last time anyone will ever see Yzerman play.)
3. Mon. Induction Ceremony (EXCLUSIVE Main Room ticket.)
4. Tues. HOF tour.

Should be an AMAZING weekend in Toronto!
