We've been sacked a grand total of 5 times in 9 games, and we throw the ball constantly. But yeah, it couldn't possibly be your builds or tactics, it's all Bort's fault and you're powerless to stop it.

Don't tell them, but we're going to try to strong-I slam 65 times behind pass-blocking lineman on pass-focus (knowing full well that MEM will destroy that), just so we can start a thread in the bugs forums about how reverse pancakes are unrealistic and bad coding.

Do you agree that there are certain plays that you have to leave out of the AI playbook do to these Blitzs?
Do you also think that the DE blitz between the LT/LG is working as intended or needs some coding work? 1 player beating 2 quite consistently when the double team should be the winner.

And this is a pretty big issue in the Bugs forums so its not like it is exclusive to the USAPL...since you stalk Thunderdoozer I see you have posted in any thread he has posted in, but everyone seems to ignore your regurgitated drab.

so, say what ya will Track, this has been talked about by MANY people all over the GLB for 2 seasons now...there are many more threads concerning it but these are all PAGE 1 threads...Bort last season said it was coding that needed to be worked on...some think the change he made this past offseason help create the RO blitz where the left side Oline just stand there watching him run by...at this point I dont think even Bort knows

Well at least I wrote something I guess.

No. And even if I did, why would that be any different that other plays the defense can effectively neutralize. Do you have the WR Screen in your playbook, and if not, why not? I didn't see your bug forum thread about how that play never works.

I think it's fine, seems to be more of a build issue on the part of the players to me than anything. You could put two guards man-to-man covering 1 WR and the WR would beat them both consistently for catches too, unless you had guards that were built to cover a WR.

People seem to ignore your "halp the rolb is blitzing" thread too except you all keep bumping it until somebody posts. And speaking of stalking, I think thunderdoozer watches our games before he even watches your games, judging by how quickly he gets all our sacks linked in the bugs forum.

Well, it does take a specific build for the DE to be success. The ISLAM, it didn't. Even elusive backs could pull it off. MEM would run Csonka 66 times and win. I even ran my 2 elusive HBs on Tonga as a test to see if it worked and it did. I removed every play from the playbook except for that one. And beat a team that was ranked way higher than me.

So, there is a definite difference between the DE thing and the ISLAM.

It does cause you to do a few different things on offense, but not much. I don't think we have yet to change a game plan because of it. Maybe because the DE's we have faced so far couldn't pull it off. We'll see when we play KKAR.

As far as USAPL being in trouble when it's fixed, that would be false. USAPL and it's teams are never in trouble when a change is made to the sim. Whether it was the WR screen, ISLAM, SS blitz, 2 man rush, Powerbacks, elusives...whatever, USAPL teams find out how to get around it quicker than everyone else. While others are bitching, the teams that were here before and all of us now, will figure the sim out and keep pressing forward.

The 1 trick ponies are the ones that die when something is nerfed or taken away. The good teams have lots of options waiting in the wings.

well, not even close to the same thing...this is 2 O lineman standing right in front of a D lineman and with no other Dlineman around for them to block...should be very simple and very basic

You fail to acknowledge that Bort himself last season said this was not working as intended but he has been very quiet in the bugs forum about many things this season...I think he is out spending all his money

big picture...just a bunch of dots doing what ever Bort tells them causing people to spend more money here than they probably should!

The blitz you guys have been making asses of yourselves about is not an exploit because you all can easily and effectively neutralize it within the rules of the game. I'm as dead serious as I've ever been on these forums. I would think with a certified genius on staff, it would take you about ten minutes to figure it out if you really examined the play, but unfortunately, that would cut into your busy schedule of petitioning Bort with prayers to change the game because you're too lazy or dumb to figure out the options you have at your disposal. Keep fighting the good fight though, franctically scouring through our games and bumping your little thread every time we sack somebody, there's no chance you're going to come out of this as the laughingstock of the league (if you aren't already.) Night!
