To be fair, the Woo-Jacks did something they didn't all season and that was abandon the running game, they only ran the ball 15 times and they had been so effective in running the ball. Credit to Rohrheim though, they did beat the Woo-Jacks when nobody in Alpha could, we would like to change that next season.
3rd time lucky?
We had settings at 38% rushing and 62% passing, so we were going for the switcharoo. We ended up with about 25% rushes though, but we we're shut down. We changed it up to 80% up the middle too, since we had been pitching to the outside for most of the season. It felt like every time we ran up the middle, they blitzed, and everytime we passed, they dropped back and just shut our receivers down. Hats off to the Stampede for coming out on top, they were just hands down the better team. They made no mistakes while we did plenty, and that's not how you win a championship.
That's what you call out guessing yourselfs. Change up things when your losing, because I know.
It could have been a nervous twitch. This is something I had to overcome at the beginning of the season. I would set tactics and develop the gameplan... but then at the last minute, I change something out of nervousness. It would mess things up.
I've had to learn to just create my gameplan immediately and LEAVE IT ALONE.
