To be fair, the Woo-Jacks did something they didn't all season and that was abandon the running game, they only ran the ball 15 times and they had been so effective in running the ball. Credit to Rohrheim though, they did beat the Woo-Jacks when nobody in Alpha could, we would like to change that next season.

3rd time lucky?

We had settings at 38% rushing and 62% passing, so we were going for the switcharoo. We ended up with about 25% rushes though, but we we're shut down. We changed it up to 80% up the middle too, since we had been pitching to the outside for most of the season. It felt like every time we ran up the middle, they blitzed, and everytime we passed, they dropped back and just shut our receivers down. Hats off to the Stampede for coming out on top, they were just hands down the better team. They made no mistakes while we did plenty, and that's not how you win a championship.

That's what you call out guessing yourselfs. Change up things when your losing, because I know.

It could have been a nervous twitch. This is something I had to overcome at the beginning of the season. I would set tactics and develop the gameplan... but then at the last minute, I change something out of nervousness. It would mess things up.

I've had to learn to just create my gameplan immediately and LEAVE IT ALONE.

After seeing the W/L discrepancy between Alpha/Zeta, I don't know about that "competition" part...

I have been ignoring commments like this since that game, but come on seriously, I have always thought the Monarchs had alot more class than to blame a loss on the tactics and a couple of changes in a depth chart. Your owner doesn't keep doing this, so why are you? OT playing TE you did that the game before as well, so you experimented in your own league? TE have been proven to be effective receivers in GLB so that is not that far of a stretch either. We screwed with tactics too that game, but we all know that the last week was for bragging right between the conferences, not for a big messing around, but we all did some.

Could I blame every loss on some sort of tactic or depth chart change: Yes would it be accurate no, well maybe our last game
All this being said the Fat Aggie: diego has a point if you look at head to head in the regular season Zeta came out on the losing end of the stick, but next year will be a different ball game. Gig'em

Yeah, because I guess the Mercenaries agaisnt the Roughnecks was totally insignificant, and who won that again? And yes, we too were experimenting in that one, as well as in the first scrimmage. Let's face it, the experimenting alpha teams beat the experimenting Zeta teams quite convinvingly overall.

I would do my WEPL Post-season Power Rankings Top 10 like this (based on all my scouting from this season)

1. Rohrheim Stampede (obviously, right?)
2. Multiple Scorgasms (underrated. Seriously.)
3. Woodridge Lumberjacks
4. Valhalla Vikings
5. Houston Roughnecks
6. NFLUK London Monarchs
7. NFLUK Wembley Warriors
8. Reykjavik Aggies
9. Aggieland Wrecking Crew
10. Valencia Billy Goats (should be tied with Aggieland Wrecking Crew though)

I would have us tied with the Monarchs at 6 truthfully maybe barely above them because we won the head to head

I honestly think if we hadn't beaten the Multiple Scorgasms, they would have run the table.

Definitely possible. They were easily a top 5 team, and with the right breaks/turnovers they could have won it all. With that said, I think if you played the playoffs as seeded 10 times, you would see 4 or 5 different champions.

I agree with this statement as well.

Yeah those 6-7-8 spots are too close to call. I have to say Wembley is very underrated. They caught on fire at the end of the season too, just a tad bit too late.

No offense to the Wrecking Crew, but I miss at least three Alpha teams that I'd consider better than them at this point.

How can you call out alpha for this, but everybody in zeta has been doing it. I have heard nothing but these games don't matter the 50-16 or what ever it was doesn't count because nobody is playing for real. Non of the wins alpha got that week counted because of this exact reason. You can call out the Monarchs for this, but must acknowledge the 75% win ratio buy alpha during this time. Otherwise STFU

Once again, Scrimmage games = Pre-season. I wouldn't pay any attention to those at all when determining who's better.

Other Alpha players have convinced me that Aggieland Wrecking Crew was just unlucky, but they are extremely formidable contenders.

I guess they are a lot like the Oslo Beserkers of Zeta.
