It's a cop out to say that TO is only good because of the system he is in. He's not the second best receiver of all time, but he most certainly isn't overrated. If anything, he's become underrated due to people confusing what he does off the field with what he does on the field.

I'll say something witty and tell you why you have shortcomings, and then you can retort with why I missed what you said to begin with, then I can explain to you why you're full of it and you have no basis for your perspective. Finally we can end it with a "you don't belong on the internet" and maybe an "I give up, you're too stupid to get it."

I've obviously missed your wonderful point because you're jumping all over the place. What did you want me to get out of that statement? You wrote, "He's overrated because we're talking about him." How could I have possibly misunderstood that?

No one is overrating him. No one is arguing that TO is the best WR of all time. However, I think he's had a great career and is still a good WR. Do you disagree? If not, then there's nothing to even argue about it.

I can't tell who you're talking to, probably applies to everyone.

My point is that whether you rate him very high (as the greatest, or top 5 or even top 10) has no bearing on whether or not others do, and many do.
I disagree with them.
Therefor, the title "overrated" is one that fits him well from my perspective.

We're talking about his value, meaning he's worthy of the debate; I disagree with him being worthy of debate, thus making this further evidence to his status as overrated.

The notion that everyone is entitled to their opinion coupled with the idea that no opinion is wrong is overrated.

AWESOME!!!!! Thats a very cheap way out of the arguement but its not gonna go down. You can post numbers all you want for TO's defense. It doesn't matter. TO presents himself as a God. He doesn't play nothing like one. That equals over-rated.

At this point, I'm pretty sure you don't even know what overrated means. When fans talk about a player being over and underrated, they aren't talking about a player's opinion of themselves. They are talking about the common person's value of the player compared to that player's true value.
