I would say get
agility to 60,
then speed to 48,
then agility to 68,
then speed to 60,
then vision to 48,
then speed to 68
then agility to 74
then strength/tackle 48
then speed to 74

EQ 85% in AGI, 15% in Speed

But remember you can alter you plans if ADV EQ comes along to make something more beneficail to your player, my DE had +3 Speed 5% force fumble, so I got strength/tackle up a little faster than I wanted, and added power tackle in VAs. So he has a 33% chance added to FF, which overall is more than he lost.

I say you put this many SP's into vision for a de 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Nah train it to like 40 then add a couple. Maybe a little more at the higher levels.

Don't add shit to vision. Don't train it or add SP's into it. Just some friendly advice

Nah that's bad advice. there is a noticeable difference from 35-cap, and a noticeable difference from cap to double cap. I just don't think the difference is enough to make me double cap vision for all my ends. Some people roll with double capped vision. Some capped vision. To never train it or add sp's is not good advice.

I know. I have been fighting with the idea of vision on a d.e. for several seasons now. I have been watching it and experimenting with different things and builds. vision definitely helps.

No it doesn't. The problem is the people's builds you've seen probably suck.

Yeah everyone I associate with sucks. My team sucks, and my own builds suck. I am on the brink of retiring everything.

You win.

Also, In your first season as a DE, Speed will get you sacks. Going straight to the 5th cap should take you around one and a half seasons (like misled said), plus you can keep EQ in Agility the whole time. Then once you start pumping Agility to the 5th cap afterwords, you'll be an absolute monster until you get out of the minors where most OTs will have decent Agility/Speed/Vision/Confidence to keep up with you, at which point you should move on to Strength. Once you 5th cap Agility, though, including equipment, you should have around 86 Speed and 102 or so Agility and you should be around level 32 or so. Then you pump Strength for a little while to keep your production up, then Tackling, then Vision, then Vision/Confidence, then SAs. This has been How to Build A DE 101.

One of my most informative posts ever tbh. <_<
