Been away guys, just want to say FANTASTIC job by the Voodoo. I'm really proud to be in the same conference as you JDaniels(as long as that last post about the Sentinels was a joke)

But of course, Semi-Final Preeediccctions:


H-Town Hitmen VS New Orleans Voodoo:


Wow, who would have thought this to be the matchup in the semi-finals. Starting the season 0-8, the Voodoo have made an astounding turn around and are very obviously the team to beat right now. Two great upsets in a row, they are trying to make it three. However, the Hitmen are no slumps either obviously. They have been at the number one spot almost all season so they expect another win here.

Prediction: I hate being a dick and picking against them EVERY week, but maybe I'm their good luck charm? Hitmen over Voodoo by the score of 20-6.

Orlando Dogg Pound VS Michigan Panthers:

The classic 1-2 match. Top seeds prevail in the east where in the west it is clearly a different story. Orlando has been unbelieveably strong the entire season, except once...against the Panthers. Michigan won 23-20 earlier in the season and I'm assuming will try close to the same tactics. I suspect Orlando will change up to fit that though.

Prediction: Again, picked against them a lot but here it goes again; Orlando wins 28-14 and meets in the final game.

Next year, it'd be cool if you & hero combined your ideas for a owner's poll & prediction thread all in one. Keep the predictions in the first 1 or 2 posts (one by hero, one bye you) & edit them, so ppl can see how things shape up week to week..

Outside of the inevitable flaming it'd be a really cool thread I think.

As everyone is well aware concerning me ... I'm with you on that.

Within the Western bracket, Hitmen are clearly the best team over the whole season, but Voodoo are clearly the hottest team. I think I'll sit back and just watch as a fan of good football.

Within the Eastern bracket, I expect Orlando to win.

Personally I think it's going to be a damn good game. The Voodoo are smokin hot right now so we'll have our hands full.

Nice try, but I'm quite sure we won't be taking the only team to beat us all year very lightly.

As for the image, when I created my players, I just typed in their position to Google, and searched the images. I wanted guys that looked the part, but didn't have any defining team markings. I thought the picture was perfect for WR - it reminded me quite a bit of Ed McCaffrey from the Broncos years, who was one of my favorite players of the time(though I'm not a Denver fan).

Thanks but we've still got a tough one today. The Voodoo are no joke so we have to get past this one first. We're all dialed in so it's up to the sim now.
