Sad team Perkis still barely beat you..
I was hoping we wouldnt win. Would of hated to have had an influence on their playoff hopes because of us beating them then losing to everyone else.
Didnt think we would without our best RB, maybe best LB, best FB, best CB, and being down to two safeties that we'd have a chance.

A win is a win. Not pretty for us, but the Rage did give us our worst beating of all-time last season.
I won't say that I scouted heavily for this game because I really didn't. Despite losing some players the majority of thier D-line and CBs were still there and caused us problems.
Good game to the Rage though

Ok, I'll say it.
That was fucking dumb when it came up, and it's fucking dumb now. People are allowed to bail whenever they want. Welcome to social gaming; you can't control people's interest.

Heh. I posted that because I'm surprised nobody at all is giving him shit about this. Sure Koncorde's OP was a bit extreme, but it's point is valid - under most circumstances it's a bitch move to midseason gut. Lowers league quality in a number of ways. This is especially so when the gut is not motivated by a sudden external reason.
So people are allowed to be apathetic, but the reaction shouldn't be some lovefest... it's tolerance. And as south park says, tolerance isn't something you like or support, you just tolerate. If a group of guys start a fantasy football league and one guy quits because Tom Brady gets injured, you don't go "aw, sorry to see you go, thanks for playing" - it's more like "ugh... fine, whatever".
To top it off, Mavooo isn't even leaving. If he was I'd be in the chorus of well-wishers and mean it despite the above.
Anyways, pretty much every owner and dedicated GM sympathizes with this position. GLB management is a tough & draining gig. I'm just surprised by the reaction. I'm not much of a shit-talker so I was hoping others would get some in. O well. If the result is that Mavoo transfers his GLB knowledge over to Greenwood it might not turn out so bad after all =P
