Tyante is a great owner/GM. I'm glad that we have him on our team. He took himself out of the situation and was gone from GLB for 2 days. That would be really hard to do.

Sorry that it bothers you. The Bugeaters are made up primarily from players who are from the Nebraska Rival's forum. Before I planned to buy a team, I had already created my player for them. They will stay with that team as long as they want them. The Bugeaters also have 5 GMs, so they really don't need me. I enjoy being part of the team and helping where I can. As the Bugeaters are from the Rival's forum, there will never be any Ewok players going to the Bugeater team. As far as the players on both teams, I don't believe any have a problem with it. I also have 2 GMs to help with my team. They get complete control if we play the Bugeaters again.

ouch, that hurts me... its almost as if I could actually control how fast my player levels up... except for the fact that this game is completely "linear"... level = when your player was created...

but yeah... way to really hurt my feelings in this simulated football game... i'm gonna go cry now because my players only a level 9... when if i was good at this game i could have been what level by now?

I hope not. seen too many gutting and colluding teams already. Thats why the whole gm thing was bugging me. it was like a warning that it might happen. hoping you guys dont add to that list.

It has been like this the whole season and I can honestly say it has never been talked about. The bugeaters like as previously stated are all guys from rivals message board. The only new people added are others from the forum that want to join and they can only join if someone else on the team wants to leave or quits playing the game. As of now I doubt there will be too much change for the bugeaters. The team is very active and most everyone on the team are team players.

Now, now Coach Whatsdafus.... I can't entirely agree with your post above about the players leveling....

My player Joe Diddy was created before those guys I do believe (or very close to most), although he is currently only level 14.

He didn't actually sign with a team until week #16 of season 1, so that was the only game he played in, and we did not make the playoffs so missed out on the potential for gaining XP's for those games as well. So the creation date doesn't carry alot of weight, more of when the players played their first game, and what kind of team were they on (did they get alot of snaps, team reach the playoffs, etc.)

Just my opinion however

you already boosted whatsdafus... I havent... ill be leveling up tonight, then in a few days, i'll boost, and be 2/3 levels ahead of that guy... and like you said, your guy is 12 days younger... good try, but sorry... you get points for playing/training, thats it... for everyone it is the same, and theres nothing you can do to level up faster or slower (there are little tricks that can maximize your experience, but if everyone does them, then everyones still going the same speed anyway)

if everyone boosts and what not, the players that started season 1 will always be better (ignoring build) than the players who started season 2... who will in turn be better than the guys who start next year... there is no way around that, this is how the game was built... the only time thats going to change is 10 years from now when the season 1 guys start to decline first

This is one part of the game I really don't like. I think a player who gets better stats and stuff should level up faster. I really don't know how it would work because that person would also just keep advancing past people. From what I have seen through playing though is the player build is way more important. I play on the bugeaters and often times teams have players with better or about the same level wise as us but I think our builds are superior in some cases. People start to really slow down on the leveling up and points the higher you get though so I think it will all even out.

NO... it wont even out... it becomes more distant.

You fuck up a build now... in year 2... in year 6 your garbage. You build correctly from start, in year 6 you dominate.

I meant the leveling part. I am saying one player at level 20 and one at 22 will not be that much different. I think the later season 1 and beginning season 2 players have and advantage in knowing from the start on how to build a player. Almost every player on the bugeaters team started at the end of season 1.

I agree with baha. There won't really be a difference in the players in a year or 2 because all of the first 2 seasons levels will be within 1 or 2 levels from each other if they boosted. It will be more about builds than levels.
