Lol - this is going to be a fun watch! When it's all done and said, Jay's best season will be this last one.

*Looks at name and GM'ed teams*

Still butt-hurt? Cutlers gone and he isn't coming back.

I watched every game Cutler played. Did you ? or did you just catch the highlights. Wasn't sorry to see him go.

Orton's a better QB for McDaniels' system. McDaniels' likes game managers who don't turn it over often that's not Cutler.

Orton isn't better than Cutler in any system.

Reading comprehension man. I did not say he is better THAN Cutler, I said he fits the system better than Cutler. Nowhere does that imply he's the better QB. But yes, Orton is better than Cutler in a system that wants a QB to rely on reads and not turn the ball over.

EDIT: Cutler last season had 1 int per every 34 passes behind a great OL with a good WR core and Orton had 1 int every 39 passes behind an average OL with below average WR Core. McDaniels system fits Orton well so I expect him to be solid this season.

The Bears fans are awfully sorry if they think Cutler is going to turn them into a great team. Their defense is aging, and they have no weapons around them. Cutler will help, but its going to be a hell of a 3 way fight for the NFC North.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good argument.

LOL

Average age of the defense: 27

Do some research braski.

Also, I expect Cutler to throw picks when they throw as often as they did. You can cry about Denver's high YPC all you want but the fact remains is they only had 2 100 yard rushers all season long.

And it's pretty easy for a defense to key against the pass when you're trailing because of that shit that Denver called a defense.

Yep biggest misconception is that the Bears Defense is old and aging. It couldn't be farther from the truth.

Let's just all hope that Cutler matures as a leader...leader is the guy who has the balls to change the situation or the course of a team when it's going in the wrong direction. If he had this and a working cell phone the law of averages would not apply in his universe. It's funny to think that Orton fits the Broncos new system better than Cutler....but, really, how well does Cutler fit the Bears 'new' system? Getcha Popcorn Ready.

Quite well actually. Chicago is not gonna rely on Cutler for everything.

We run and mix in a little PA now and then.

By 'mature' Kron, I mean the kid needs to make some life decisions to become a real pro. Being drunk the night before games when your team is on the playoff bubble won't ever help your situation or that of the team's. Jay was/is borderline alcoholic at the end of the season...it's not good and hopefully he gets it together.

He blows up and get's hella frustrated when things don't go his way. He's got what it takes to throw a rock through your skull if needed and hopefully he can do well, but I am dying to see how the Bears use him as I don't see him satisfied with dink and duck ball or a heavy dose of the run....he's had his way since high school and doesn't know any other way.

I'm excited for the Bears and I hope Jay gets his shit together especially so he can do well for them. IF any franchise deserves a good franchise QB, its those Bears.

I agree. but at the same time, he's 26. Let him live his life.

As long as he shows up to play on Sunday I could probably care less
