Pissed me off how much light beers have taken over in England. It's probably easier to find Stella than any other beer in your average free house. No one drinks the traditional ales anymore.

BTW I'd OC and DC someone's team for an entire season if they managed to get me a fresh cask of Theakston's Old Peculier stateside. They may not be happy with the product though because I'd work to empty that thing pretty quickly.

Sorry if this derailed the thread but beer is a more important topic so it had to be done.

I think this is a good idea. With the amount of time it takes to OC/DC. A case of quality beer should be the standard salary

Stella is shit. If i'm going to spend more money on a beer, i'd rather just go all the way and get something really good. Not just mediocre overpriced crap (in the US at least). Usually, i'll get the nicest beer i can find, or i'll drink whatever is cheapest. All that midrange stuff like heineken, blue moon, stella, just seems like a waste to me.

Thank god for this german themed beer bar near me with over 300 kinds of beers in stock. We have some beer lovers and convos in the golfer forum occasionally. I'm gonna drink the shit out of my Old Rasputin tonight

Stella is just behind Kroneberg at least around here in percentage of alchol per liter. Krone's are 5.2 percent and I believe Stella's are 5. They are very strong beers but I actually like the taste of Kroneberg the best. Could always drink the Wicked Ale stuff I suppose.

5% is strong beer? Bud/mill light is about 4.5%. 5% is par for the course. A fair amount of bars in the states carry semi-popular niche beers promoting 7-9%. Beer specialty stores have plenty of options at the 9-12% level as well. Dogfish head has 3 in the 18% area. Heavy shit.

you're in the wrong pubs mate. get yourself a pint of meantime. that being said even stuff like kronenburg and wife beater is better tasting than any of that bud or miller rubbish you have over there in yankland.

OT texas are definately going to break at least one of warrens tackles. but then who doesnt...

Rizzotti and Angus will dine on a few reporters, laugh at a few mods, stomp some RB's, and sh*t on a QB this game.

Beer, Oh let there be beer!

Advice run don't pass.
