APL is a total joke. Look at the tournament of champions, you guys can never get anywhere in that thing, while CPL has been in the championship game 2 seasons running.

And as for your examples:

Example 1: test game. just like APL to brag about test games, because its the only way you can look good.
Example 2: yeah, thats steelersinsider DCing. his numbers are actually terrible when you consider that part.
Example 3: 5.8 ypc is something to brag about? I think i'll take Dooley's 9.6 ypc against the same defense (while they were sd token boosting to stop him).

2. SI actually had a very good D plan for us, don't turn this into an SI bash fest. He might be a lot of things, but a poor DC is not one of them.
3. It was more the 7 rec for 158 yards I was looking at. You see, a truly great HB like Jedi can succeed at whatever the D gives him. If they load up to stop the run, he makes them pay catching the ball. Novel idea I know
4. Please, do I really need to list the multiple 200+ yard games against teams like WW, LSP, Bonn, etc etc?

The meaningless scrim games you speak of are PWT and Hazy tourney games. Both tourneys are a collection of the greatest teams in GLB, well, those not fortunate enough to be in the loaded CPL, as evidenced by Jedi's performance against said elite CPL teams.

But let's be fair, Jedi didn't destroy the Beans. He had under 5 yards per carry except for the 60 yard run (explained below).


And like I said, we had a gutted team earlier in the day and I had to move offensive guys to the defense depth chart. I didn't get all of them off in time and our OTs played DE as much as our DE's:


Here were the only 2 long runs allowed. Notice the O-linemen at DE?

Other than plays where O-linemen were playing DE............. LOL had less than 4 yards per carry

The Beans have been in the top 3 in run defense every season in CPL since we arrived in season 3 - finishing 1st in CPL East at least a couple times. We are not bad against the run, maybe against the pass. We neglected a key attribute in pass defense in the past, but we are almost up to par there now.


Dooley won't get 150 yards rushing, nor 100 yards receiving



If gart is such a genius in run defense, why is it that the Beans ran for 245 yards (5.6 ypc) vs Halifax, while Halifax could only muster a HORRIBLE 1 yard per carry (34 yards on 34 carries)?

You're right SI. Dooley is a very good back, as is Jedi. And I fell for the "troll" attempt, again, Last season Gart was going off about how much Jedi sucked when compared to Csonka. This season it's how much Jedi sucks compared to Dooley. Funny Jedi is always the constant though and it's always a different back that is having a decent year that he gets compared to

All you need to know is that Jedi ran roughshod over some of WW's best tacklers today, whereas Dooley would have a hard time scoring on post-gut Spicewood. Halifax is a poor man's MEM imo.
