Your DE were never sack machines before though....... you considered building differently?

They aren't working, both are totally useless now

Oh that sucks. My balanced DE is useful this season. He gets some sacks but mainly he is a huge asset in my team's stellar run game.



My DE does pretty good vs. the run, the thing is, I don't really care about the run. I want to see hurry's + sacks from this guy.

I can't shed blocks without getting re-engaged instantly, I cant get around the OT, I can't do anything hardly.

After all this time of having a stellar player, now he has been nerfed to hell for season 9.

Not to burst your bubble or anything... but during the regular season, your guy had one sack in games decided by less than 50 points.

Uhhh, yeah. He was talking about his season 8 domination... when the only thing he dominated was terrible teams.

yeah, true. at first he was a run stuffer, with strength eq. another team wanted him to be a pass rusher, so i changed my EQ from Strength to Agility - that was just prior to the first nerf - and it worked well. if you look at the game log, he recorded a good level of sacks in close games.

then post-nerfing, he still had 10 sack seasons, but almost all those were against cpus. we all know agility DEs are now worthless, so i've since switched to speed, which is working ok, still only 1 sack this season, but some hurries.

i would think that a DE that has strength, speed and agility all at or above the 68 cap would do something, esp with all eq in speed.

I have a DE that tied for first in the league in sacks in South America AAA last year. This year, he has yet to record as sack. Absolutely unbelievable.

no offence dude, but most of your sacks were against what looks like gutted teams, in massive blowouts, your guy only got like 3 or 4 "real" sacks. i'm not criticising, my player is exactly the same. but yeah, DE's aren't broken, its just the builds, obviously.

DE's brought back to reality=broken.....not sure i agree.....sorry you're not getting the 100 sack season that all DE's should get.....oh wait....now it's turning into a real game of tactics and builds....my mistake!!!!

Wait, someone without a DE not knowing what they're talking about? Shocking.

DE owners aren't asking for 100 sack seasons, they're asking for the ability to compete in games vs. equal competition. DEs still have the ability to blow up and get 10 sacks against a gutted team, but does anyone really care about those games? We want the ability to make a difference in closely matched games just like every other position in the game can.

I think the D-line in general has been berfed this season. O-line is way overpowered. I know because I built 2 G's just to see how easy it is to stop and pancake DT's. All they need is 3rd capped strength and blocking. This game sux for guys who love Defense ( which I do).

DE getting pancaked by QB's in the TE position is really fun.
