This guy lied to me about retiring his player (I figured he was too), and still released him. How's BundyBuilding treating you?

True colors shine through again. You never seem to remember the last pm conversation we had when I stated I wasn't going to retire him - instead I was going to allow a friend to use him for a season before retiring him. I told you that the plans had changed with his future, but they still did not include being on your team. You responded by calling me a crybaby and blocking me from the forum.

Super-slow building worked in its time 5 seasons ago. Live in the now...

If his equipment is off, bench him and release him in the offseason.

Let him know that if he puts it back on he will get back to his old roster spot.

You are in your rights to play the best players, and if he's dumping EQ and messing with his tactics he isn't one of your best players and therefore should be riding the pine.

Then it's not rotting, it's just making best use of your roster.

I don't remember calling you a crybaby, but I don't keep PMs from that long ago. I knew right away when you said you'd retire him you were FOS, but I really didn't care that much. Blocking from forums is standard for that kind of stuff. You were released when a replacement was found (IIRC), and I didn't sweat it. Its funny, I did mention you to Chop as the one other agent who I have ever had a problem with in the past. No big deal, we were definitely not a good fit. You think you know everything, lie, and don't ever want to take advice. I prefer team players. I can't take anyone seriously who thought BundyBuilding was a good idea.

Fwiw jeth's LB Fred Smith doesn't start, and he just happens to be the current #1 on the western defensive mvp race.

Team player imo

Just use the player like you would anyway. Don't lower to his level.

For such a good guy like tom this is what id suggest. You play to win in USA Pro. Replace him asap and move on bro. You are a good guy dont let one douchebag ruin you. You can have plenty of talent running to the woodys. Keep up the good work bro.

My point in this was to show the true side of you. Your OP depicts you as the innocent and the player as the bad guy. I'm betting there is more to this story, or some of it has been exaggerated. It's hard to believe you felt I lied to you when you were told exactly what was going to happen. In fact, I recall you mentioning that retiring him might be a bad idea since HBs were so scarce at the time and his build could be fixed. I agreed and told you he wasn't going to be retired but rather become a backup to be used as depth filler. (although he never again boosted and was no longer wearing custom gear)

I'm not sure why you keep bringing up super-slow building. The fact does remain that the build method worked when the player was being build for a specific purpose (level 13 cap leagues) and was to be retired after use. The data was compiled by many that proved this as a fact. YES, the player will never be equal to others of his age and will have a shorter life span. The point is that it was a feasible build method until the introduction of bonus tokens and Vet exp. Not too sure why you have such a vendetta against anyone who stood behind the style though. Are you mad because your coined name didn't catch and people still refer to it as super-slow building?

People pay money to play this shit, let him go if he wants to go. Why ruin the game for someone... that's lame.

1) I would be 1 WR short by letting him go of what I need. It's impossible to sign an appropriately leveled player this time of year. I'm willing to trade this season for someone just as good. If he told me before the season, I could have actually done this.

2) He decided to try to scam me.

3) He did not come forward when I figured out he was trying to scam me.

F this guy, he can rot. He has shown absolutely no respect for me, when I was very generous with him (restructuring his contract, keeping playing time identical, etc...).

So the guy's equipment is off, making him worthless, he's shown himself to be a d-bag, and you're going to do what you can to keep him on the team?

Yeah. I get what Tom's doing. Why let this douche walk all over him. I like the move, to be honest. Screw him. Make him apologize and mean it, maybe have himself ready to play a couple games. Then consider releasing him.

It's just like holdouts in the NFL. Sure, you try to trade malcontents but if you are getting no value for him...if he can trade him for another WR then sure you do that.

Otherwise, the bigger loss is on the WR, not the owner. The longer he's a dickbag, the worse off his career will be. If he starts sharing builds, he gets banned.

ROFL @ Cherrie

Go find some of the older members of the EE AAA/EEPL and im sure they can share PLENTY of Cherrie stories with you, namely Caponesgun.

Needless to say, none of my recollections of her are anything close to positive.

He's under contract til end of season.

And Cherrie- yeah, just trying to figure out if she acted on her own or my agent was in on this with her. If she has a history of doing shady stuff, perhaps he is innocent or at most went along with her idea.
