half the league is fucked o/

lol

lol I know, I have no idea how I am going to cut 25 players. Personally, I think it's the right move though.

I guess I'm tired of people bitching (always have been, even long before I was a mod and testing). It's a game - if you aren't enjoying it, then don't play or pay. It's really that simple. Me personally, if I was going to be unhappy about something for more than a couple months, I'd be long gone. I enjoy the game though and I understand it's not perfect and that there are things that need to improve (which is what I'm trying to do but with only one programmer, something which is at the core root at the major problem with this game, it takes a lot longer than if you had a well organized team of developers).

I'm just going to stay out of any thread that whines/bitches from now on, but y'all know where to find me if you need help or have any questions.

Hazy

Hazy, don't worry, I have been tempted to quit GLB since midway through season 7. You as an owner I would expect to understand though that when you own a pro level team it isn't easy to simply quit if you don't like it. The agents on your team to whom you have made a commitment deserve better than that. You also have a duty to your league - gutting mid season is not something that I would ever want to do, out of respect for USA Pro. Look at the response that Pierre was given for considering quitting despite lots of real life issues? Also, the monetary investment I have made in this game makes me think that I would rather try and get issues taken care of before simply writing it off.

I'm not somebody who is gonna sit here and just point fingers. If I was a tester, like you, I would have no problem putting in absurd hours to get this game fixed. If you think all I want to do is sit here and bitch, I dare you to get me a chance to get my hands dirty to prove that I am just as willing to work on it as I am to point out problems. But I am sick and tired of glaring issues in this game being ignored and Bort continuing to tack stuff onto it like a blind man decorating a cake before he even has the basics right.

You say this season is better than last. I say you are wrong. I am not alone. It's easy for you to dismiss me and others like me as people who are just bitching, but ultimately we do it because we want GLB to be a success, rather than to have wasted a year of our lives on something that is gonna implode on itself and die.

coverage is wack right now. seems like jackhammer PDs are the only real option. too bad only .001% of CBs are built for that.

Hazy we are friends but I have to completely agree with RJ here.

I'm honestly at a point where I'm playing this game for a lot of other people - and not myself.

If I could - without hurting any of the tens of agents who I coordinate for - step away from all of it and just be a player, at this point I'd be ready to do it. Many of us are just tired of the three ring circus this game continues to be despite wanting it to be better.

104-79 all I can say is WOW! Looking at the stats line, that game was flat out insanity. Out gain a team by 425 yds, only have 1 turn over and lose?!?!?!?!?!?! I would have never even believed that was even remotely possible....Or that Spice could put up 924.5 yds on good SD team. Hell, the list of absolutely unbelievables could go on for several pages on both sides, just based on the stats page alone.

When you think about it, it is kind of odd. We are in ssn 9 and this may just be the most insane sim of all the ssns so far. I've been with Islander since he wrote it before the ssn even began. In it's own way, this ssn's sim is insane. Hell, I'd gladly go back to ssn 8, with nothing more than the repeated play penalty added, myself. The list of things that are just flat out insane about this sim is just nuts. I honestly think this game has completely spiraled out of control on Bort. I do believe he is trying to regain some control over it, but I'm beginning to doubt he'll be able to.

bolded for prophecy fulfilled - for those others of you who didn't believe me, or thought I loved S8 because of the Wolfpack's performance.

Yeah, season 8 sim with the repeated play would have been much better than this mess.

Where do I suggest that's a stupid fucking idea as well?

Why not just go ahead and have a draft every year then?

PP, islander and rj are all saying some pretty insightful stuff. If you choose to write posts like that off as whining/bitching, it's your loss Hazy.

Very true, but it doesn't really take much to be better than last season.

The scoring has just been up this season, you'd figure with D play creator defenses would be better. But the reality is right now most of us have no idea what to expect each game, just a ton of crazy stuff.

No kidding. I'm sure SDL will appreciate having to cut half their team
