i think he should sell the team and focus on his business and child. Everyone wants to bitch and moan because their stupid stats get fucked up, but you PT seem to have your responsibilities and priorities in check and would be doing the right thing by selling. Of course, if someone is willing to take over and run it, great for everyone. But if not, no reason to force yourself to play this GAME any longer.

not sure, don't really care tbh. Until season 8, we were all enjoying the beta game anyway.

Left to go fishing for a few hours and eat a nice dinner. Get back and have tons of messages with people offering to help. I'm not promising but I think a solution to at least finish the season is out there. Plus I have several offers from people wanting to take over the team.

While some of my decision has to do with real life, a lot of it has to do with zone defenses but all of it has to with the combination of each.

Hazy, I do appreciate everything you do and I was not mad at you at all. The only thing differently you could have done was left the thread open for discussion a bit longer but my beef is with Bort. So many times people identify problems with his sim, show him the evidence and he is so quick to dismiss stuff that it pisses me off. The guy couldn't put together a game plan to save his life and he is so disconnected from the hoops he makes owners jump through. After the work I put into this season got flushed because he wont admit there is a problem, likely with a very simple fix then it is incredibly disheartening.

I seriously took 4 days off of work just to put this seasons plans together and come up with an AI and scouting system for my team that would allow me to adjust each game without spending huge sums of time each week. I simply don't have the time to start over and don't have the time to scout each game and use old Ai's just to probably lose games.

Anyway, thanks to everyone in this thread for the comments. I really do feel bad breaking up the perfect balance in this league and will try to avoid it since I know none of you want a day off from gameplanning.

Been with the 4Cs since Season 3 and I have to say that PT is as classy as owners come. For all of you guys being dbags out there, suck it. PT wouldn't consider this kind of step unless he really thought it was necessary.

If we lose PT as an owner it'll be a huge loss for the game. He's been such a dedicated and knowledgeable owner as long as I've known him and I can't say enough good things about him.

Yeah... what a bunch of fucking grundle stains. The funniest part about it is most of you complaining don't own teams, and have no freaking clue as to how much time and commitment it takes to be successful. To that end, he's done his part. Pierre took Quad C from BBB to Pro in 7 seasons. There aren't too many teams up here that can say that. The best part about the crying, is it's based on stat-whores worrying about losing a shot (that most don't realistically have anyways) at league stats.

I agree with this, and I'm sorry to see Pierre go, he seemed like a positive contributor to this forum. Also for those who are concerned about player stats, It'll be interesting to see their reactions when they realize most of the awards this season will probably go to players on subpar teams with 15 in Big Heart. Making it that much more obvious that winning is the only stat that matters.
