hey guys Nats DC here. Sad that we made it here this way, but this was our goal since season 2, is to get here. Now were here and hopefully here to stay for a while, looking around looks tough, 11 wins is blasphemy imo. Lawdawg I love you to death, but let us be underdogs lol. Were just here to compete and whether we finish first or last were going to do our best to win as much as we can.

yes i agree 4 wins is too low. i want to officially change my prediction to ZERO wins. only kidding, 6-9 wins range IMO, just dont think that with two quarterbacks you can automatically make the playoffs.

I kinda think that two QBs is a waste, no matter how good they both are. Those are two damn good QBs, no doubt, just don't really see the reason to have them both on one team.

stamina, what's the only reason for depth ever

Our QB has never had a problem, but he doesn't fling the rock 80x / game either

Makes sense now

I don't expect much credit because we had a lousy regular season. There were a lot of behind the scene problems we encountered that threw us way off on top of a sim that wasn't friendly to the passing teams. We straightened some issues out when the playoffs came along and I think we proved we were one of the better teams by beating Fresno and Oklahoma back to back. I don't know that Bevo can take what happened last season and say that season 9 they would be a better team than us though. Heck we went 16-0 and then lost 3 games the next season. Sims change a lot. We're making some big changes to hopefully put us in a decent position to win some games. 11? No. That's someone else's prediction. I'd be happy with 6-8.

I think 6-8 wins is fair. As for the Longhorns vs. the Naturals, I'm fairly confident the Longhorns would have been the better team in most years. I'm still not sure how we were 10-6 in Season 7 and yes, we sucked. If you look at the teams history though, I think our trophies say enough. Championships at 4 different levels in 7 seasons.

nats should be ready to win @ max 4 games this year, not incl. any gutted teams. just a prediction. cant just come up to pro and expect to be decent without a trophy IMO

that's kind of insulting you don't know what the sim will be like plenty of team come up without a trophy and do well and we're combing offense's with oklahoma

not saying we're going to be great but more than 4 wins is likely

I'd say anywhere from 8-11 wins. If the passing game improves like many think, you're probably looking at 10 or 11 wins.

4 is being ridiculous.

A very good team or two is going to get 4-5 wins or less in the west next year. I'm not saying its gonna be the natty's (as i don't know much about them) but they are nowhere near immune to having a bad season.

Heck, the vikings and lighning combined to go 3-0 against you in season 7, and they went 7-9 and 9-7 respectively last season. I'm not saying the naturals don't have the potential to be a playoff team, but to say that they are anywhere close to guaranteed to get 8+ wins is retarded.

Hell, I went into last season with the Hedgehogs missing the playoffs as a real possibility. We luckboxed into 10-6, but if we want to make the post-season again this year I know damn well we will have to scratch and claw our way to the big show.

Not that it'll necessarily happen, if the natty's start off 0-4 or something like that, please don't gut mid-season, which is what teams tends to do when their expectations are too high.

Off-hand, I'd say the evil monkey's, wolfpack, and maybe the navs are definites to make the playoffs. Then you have perhaps 10 more teams (including yours) who are expected to be highly competitive for a playoff spot. Not to mention the bottom 3 teams all are still very good, and if they did a good job on recruiting fit the S9 sim better, they could be in the race as well.

I know how it is coming up. You've won so much and feel like you are one of the best teams in the game, then people doubt you. Hell at one point my boy CV said the Hedgehogs would get 2 wins last season, lol. But what I'm saying is that there are 13 teams in this league fighting for 5 playoff spots, and its gonna be a war. Hell, two extremely good teams are going to be delegated next season in the west (assuming no guts which isn't likely), and I can guarantee you that at least one of those two teams won't be LV/Parma/Dallas. Hell, if I don't keep my shit together, it could very well be my team.

Moral of the story: Please no one gut mid-season in the west.

My thoughts exactly. Except for this: and maybe the navs are definites to make the playoffs.

We will definitely be in the PO's. As well as the Marauder's and HHW imo.

Sorry for the quote pyramid. And no offense to the fantastic HHW who beat our ass twice last ear, but I'm gonna guess they are gonna need to sling the rock more to make the playoffs next year and I'm not quite sure to what extent they can do that effectively...

Bort will likely overnerf the running game and even if he doesn't, the D-play creator spells doom for highly unbalanced offenses. Just imo.

Just looking around the teams that came up and changes that are made so far here is the way I see the west next year.

*15 games only, until we get the OOC match up*

Monmouth----15-0
Washington--14-1
Lincoln---------13-2
Minnesota -----11-4
HHW-------------10-5
Spicewood------9-6
Chicago----------9-6
NY/CA-------------9-6
BSB----------------7-8
Naturals----------7-8
Compton-------- 7-8
SDL--------------5-10
SBS--------------3-12
Parma-----------1-14
Dallas-----------0-15

not bad. I'd switch SDL and Compton. SDL is getting a bunch of Dallas guys from AAA1 ergo promote then gut.

seems pretty good, the naturals have added alot of new players so its still tough to see how it will play out but i dont see us winning any more games then you predicted, also the 1-5 teams here have been pretty consistent and i dont see that changing dramatically, its really gonna be a dogfight for the 6-8 spots good list coach

We will see guys. As always just my opinion. I did go 114-22 in picking the west games last seasons SO my random ass dot guessing is usually OK.

I can't see they getting less than 3 tbh.

Anyway, you said 4 wins for Parma... that's already a lot different than the prediction lol
