i dont want to disgrace our own winning thread BUT:

i really dont see the point arguing about the I Slam, i have never seen a game without players trying to get an edge by (ab)using exploits and i dont like it but playoffs are here to be won (i am very glad we have that great team/staff and proved this is all you need)

What bothers me on the other hand was something said by zickzack, just because people are bitching about something doesnt mean its true. Im pretty sure we are in this "mess" because powerbacks bitched for too long. i could go on about nerfing and imbalancing but i guess you get my point. i dont say that bort shouldnt take care of it, but the as long as people bitch and whine as much, bort cant do someting about the really important stuff.

Well, in general I'd agree, however, wouldn't you agree that either all these teams did run the Strong ISlam into the ground because "it gave them in edge", in which case the complaints would be justified that it was overpowered, or the complaints weren'T justified, which makes you wonder why so many teams decided to limit their play calling to such an extent, after all there was no reason to do so if things were balanced. Can't have it both way I'm afraid.

why not ... they thought this gives them the best chance to win. it did help alot of team go deep into the playoffs, but at the end it was not (imbalanced) enough to overcome a good gameplan and good execution by a good team. at least that is how i (and i guess we) saw it. there are very few things that are just black and white.
