Well, the test will be complete. My level 28 end only has speed agility and tunnel vision. He finished with 21 sacks, and beat a level 36 tackle( I think) in the playoffs for a sack. I know, as well as everyone else in the D.E. P.T. forum that Speed and agility work, with a little T.V. regardless of anything else. they Work. It might take more str or more shed blocks and t.v. at the higher levels, but they generally over all work for producing sacks, at any level.
MY level 28 D.E. got noticeably better from season to season. with 2, then 8, now 21. As his speed and agility grew so did his sack count. Then this season I raised T.V. to 4(5) to try to help us win a championship, and he has 21 sacks.
Bottom line is it works. It's visible in the sim. you can see it works. People know it works.
The same can be held accountable for Strong base. If str and strong base worked, he will have a steady increase in sacks as the seasons go on.
It's either going to fail or pass. that's all there is to it.
If you're talking about "Terror" 20 out of his 21 sacks are against gutted teams with gutted OTs. I guess you can chalk that up as "worked" (the only thing that worked is your DE plays in an inferior league)
The test you're proposing is such a joke no real DE builder should take it serious.
1) You don't know what Strong Base boosts, and it is doubtful Strong Base only boosts strength.
2) Do you do a comparative analysis between the OT that you beat and your DE that "worked"? You need to see both of their builds (hence a real test will have data on both OT and DE, not just DE and an ass guess on the OT build)
3) How bias is your test? If you pile up str and Strong Base and neglect to follow up spd, agi, TV, FS, etc. I can tell you right now it won't work.
Shut up this test is happening and you will be made a fool of.
